What makes a great website?

A great website should be Mobile Friendly, accessible and easy to use for all users. It should be fast to load, and should have good, relevant and well formatted content. Navigation is extremely important so that users can find their way around the website without getting lost and frustrated. Browser compatibility is also extremely important as there are so many devices now and so many browsers that users can choose from.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

What do you want to achieve from your website? What are your goals?
Who is your target audience?
Do you need a domain name and hosting set up?
How many website pages do you need?
Do you need a logo and branding or do you have these already?

What do you love most about your job?

The thing I love most about my job is starting a new project from scratch, meeting new people from all different walks of life and finding out about their passions and what they do. I also love taking something which is just an idea and turning it into reality for a client. It's so rewarding when you have a very happy client who can finally see their dream turned into a reality.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I worked as a Senior Systems Analyst for a large bank for 12 years. In that time I worked on many corporate projects, both in a design role and a development role. Our IT department was moved to Scotland and I was given the option of voluntary redundancy which I took. My husband and I decided to start our own business instead of me going back into the corporate environment. I'm so glad I did, I get to work for so many different people and have so much more freedom with the design process. This job never gets boring! I love it!

Why should our clients choose you?

I am reliable and very good at what I do. I will work with you and make sure you get the website that YOU want!
