After purchasing an awning from VidaXL (good value, but self assembly was a massive understatement), it took me nearly 6 weeks to find a company that would take on the assembly and installation of a deconstructed electric cassette patio awning. I worked through 4-5 different companies, before listing the job on BARK. SBI were the first company to come back to me (almost immediately) and I very quickly had a quote and date for installation. On the instal date (which happened to be the hottest day of the year) two experience guys tackled this beast of a 4.5m x 3m awning assembly, and within a few hours had it constructed and on the wall. The job certainly took longer than expected but they cracked on, despite having to move several other jobs after (sorry about that!). In fairness, I did explain in advance that this would be fiddly! Since installation, it transpires that there is likely a product fault so I’ve gone back to the supplier to remedy, but James (Peel) has been great at troubleshooting and offering solutions. Communication was brilliant all the way through, quick responses and extremely knowledgable people, with good reliable people installing. I’d definitely use SBI again, but would most likely source the awning through them too, as these online “DIY” versions aren’t always what they’re cracked up to be. Thanks for helping!

Our awning was originally installed by Thomas Sanderson 20 plus years ago. It required a new motor and a complete recover. Thankyou to James Oeels company for replacing the motor and Thankyou to Gerard and Steve who measured and installed it just got on with the job our awning is like new.
