I have always worked with animals, and became a groomer by accident really, someone asked me to groom their dog whilst I was living in Crete working with the street dogs, rehabilitating them to adapt to civil lives rather than a life on the street, and one lady asked me to groom her dogs, (12 of them) which I did even though I had never groomed a dog in my life, and she was so pleased with my work she recommended me to everyone she knew, and my work just took off!
I then completed my dog grooming diploma and gained a distinction in it!
I am very patient female, I work with not only dogs and puppies that are comfy to be groomed but also with nervous, difficult and aggressive dogs, providing the owners work with me and cooperate fully I try to help both dog and owner understand why their dog behaves like he does, what his fear or phobia is and how to overcome it.
