Actually when choosing any coach, you need to be a good fit to work together professionally. You need to feel heard and understood as well as feel confident the person can help you.
You need to speak with the coach and feel you can be open and honest with them. You also need to be ok with them challenging you at times! The coach should feel they can support you to achieve what it is you want to achieve - so it is a two way decision to embark on coaching.
