What do you love most about your job?

I love making a difference in other people’s lives. I know what I do helps them to stay living independently in their own homes and my clients love to see me walking in the door. I have wonderful relationships with my clients. While I am doing their ironing or washing the floor, we’re laughing and chatting. They enjoy telling me their stories, sometimes from years ago and I get pleasure from listening to them.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I am Adefunke the registered manager of D-Triumph Care Services. I have dedicated my working life to the UK care sector for no less than 17 years, starting my career in Health & Social Care.
I am a qualified Social Worker. My passion came from working as a carer from as teenager and having a lengthy family background in the sector. People’s wellbeing is always at the top of my priority list. My value is to ensure that everyone should live an independent and fulfilling life irrespective of their disabilities or conditions.
It is my belief and passion that we should treat and look after those we care for, in the same way, that we wish to be looked after ourselves.

We provide quality care for all of our clients with empathy and respect. These are some of the most important qualities any company and carer needs to have despite a person’s age, belief, sexual orientation or mental capacity. We always connect with our clients in order to help them through any given situation by understanding their emotional and needs. We strive to encourage every clients independence by maintaining patience in supporting our clients to enable them to live from day to day.

Our staff are dependable and experienced working with a variety of specific needs. All carers, regardless of their previous training are always willing to learn and develop their understanding of a client’s needs. Our carers have a lot of character and charisma as we aim to employ carers who are able to light up any room when they walk in. Each carer were drawn into working in a caring role due to their genuine concern and passion for the welfare of others.

We strongly believe that every client is unique therefore that is why we believe and value exceptional carer with us provide.

To keep our workers safe. We provide them with PPE that are needed to use while supporting service users such as Face masks, hand sanitisers, hand gloves and aprons.
