I have also boarded dogs with Paula and they've been looked after extremely well. And she also runs an excellent dog walking service where dogs come back content and well exercised. I have always loved Paula's classes, and am only sorry that I have not done this review earlier. It takes a special type of trainer to have the patience and open mindedness to teach a blind person such as myself, so I applaud Paula for this, as many trainers would just say no or put you off.

We live near many dog-friendly areas, the closest being Buile Hill Park which is less than a 5-minute walk. We are experienced Dog walkers as well as pet sitters. Courtney is fantastic. She has been walking Vader and Leia for 6 months, they love her taking them on walks and getting cuddles off her. They are always super excited when she comes to pick them up, and we are happy in the knowledge she will take care of them and give them a good walk. She towels them down when they get wet, puts Leia’s coat on when it rains. She is 100 % reliable and has never let us down and gives us plenty of notice if she can’t make a day. She is also pretty flexible when you need her to do an extra day. Courtney also looked after them both and our two rabbits Bam Bam and buttons when we went on holiday. She is extremely trustworthy, stayed in our house and kept it clean and tidy. She sent us pictures of them all, every day, letting us know they were ok. I was so worried about leaving the dogs to go on holiday, but they were safe and happy with Courtney, so I enjoyed my holiday and didn’t worry.
I offer a dog walking and pet sitting business. The latter can be for daily visits or for going to stay at a Client's house whilst they are on holiday. I am in the process of obtaining a licence to have pets at my own home (Cats and Dogs) Some clients do prefer pets to be in a quieter environment when they are on holiday, or kept in their own.
I really enjoy being able to make a person feel comfortable that there pet will be well cared for when they are away, or if they are being walked. The reason being that I found holidays stressful when I had my two large dogs, and put them into kennels. I was never sure what their experience was going to be, and indeed when they got older I just didn't go away at all, unless a friend could look after them. Even then, I only went away for week ends!
It can be the same having someone else walk your pet, so hopefully, I can ensure people have trust that I will do a good job.
I also enjoy the experience of meeting lots of different pets, and getting to know them. Its great when they run to greet you, and you know they trust you, and the fun is about to begin!
I was inspired to start the business after my own pets died. I still wanted to have contact with dogs and cats, but without immediately taking on the commitment of having my own again. Since then I have enjoyed meeting different people and their pets.
Simply, I will do a good job. There will be no short cuts. When a dog or cat is with me, they will have my undivided attention and care.It is a business to me, but it is more important that someone precious dog or cat is taken care of,
