From the initial contact I had with David he couldn’t have been more prompt and helpful. The quote was detailed and the initial supply of boxes, bubble wrap and tape was a great start to the packing. On the day of the move the whole team were super friendly and efficient in the whole process. They worked extremely hard moving our belongings to our new flat 2 floors up. David and the team made our move so simple. We are being moved for 6 months whilst our insurance make repairs to our home, so our stress levels are through the roof, but Moving Home Made Easy really live up to their name. From David making a personal visit on the day to do a walkthrough, and to explain when the team would turn up and what they would do, to the good natured banter from the removal tea m. Seriously, they had me proper gut laughing. That said, they might have a laugh with each other but they take their work very seriously. Nothing was too much for them, and I was absolutely amazed at how quickly they worked. Quickly, but thoroughly. On the other end, they were absolutely fantastic in getting everything in the new house, placed and put together. We moved house from Glasgow Southside to Renfrewshire last week. David and his team are first class professionals. Everything was assessed and explained clearly and a competitive quote provided. A team of seven men arrived early morning. They were extremely polite and very respectful of our belongings. Communication was excellent throughout. We used this company on the 23rd of August 2019. David Reed was amazing he immediately made you feel comfortable and relaxed in terms of the price. My first impression was the companies professionalism and the movers military style of removing our furniture etc in a carefully controlled manner. The actual removal was very quick to our other house. We has some trouble getting our keys and the company kept hold of our furniture in their vans until we could access our new home. When we told them we had our keys, they were there in 45 minutes, unbelievable! Svat and Nico, in particular, were amazing, so polite, respectful, really hard workers and funny guys. I’ve have realised that finding a good removals company is always tricky – you only do it occasionally and there’s no going back if things don’t work out on the day! I have usually used a friend’s recommendation or other local knowledge before, but being new to the Glasgow area that was not so easy.My move was a local one (only 8 or so miles in the Garelochhead area) and I really wanted it done in a day, so I got 4x quotes. The highest was outrageous and they obviously didn’t want the business. The lowest was just too low and I couldn’t see how they could make any money and I really didn’t want to trust my entire house to some guys who were probably being paid less than minimum wage.That left two, who both did a proper survey and I chose ‘Moving Home Made Easy’ as their quote was reasonable, the surveyor who did the survey was very knowledgeable, offered good advice and easy easy to deal with. The whole ethos of ‘Moving Home Made Easy’ appears to be around customer service and I thought I would give them a go – especially as the personal contact and information given by David Reed the MD was second to none.The move went fine, the guys were great and took good care over the boxes (I packed myself with boxes provided by them and some I already had) and with furniture etc. Nothing was broken or damaged. What impressed me most initially was the thoroughness and careful attention that was paid to drawing up the inventory. Everything was accounted for and a really clear outline of the process was offered. With the move itself, the team were really friendly and helpful, making sure to ask questions when anything needed clarification and treating every item with genuine care. The install was seamless. Research has shown that moving home is more stressful than a relationship breakdown, divorce or even a new job so I was expecting the worst when I moved on the 23rd August. Working with Moving Home Made Easy, certainly took the stress out of the move, and if fact, the team were fantastic. From the initial meeting with David Reed, the preparation for me with additional wardrobe boxes delivered ahead of time, and the service on the day was nothing short of outstanding. The team were on time, efficient, friendly and respectful with all my things and myself from start to finish. What a lovely team of hard working gentleman.To finish off the service, there was an error in my acceptance contract that the washing machine was to be included, which I didn't know about and took my machine with me to my new home. As a result, the new owners requested it back. A truly outstanding service. From David's first visit, to the packing and then to helping us with some storage. We have used a couple of other companies in the past, this was a whole different experience. Not a single item damaged. Not a single book bent. The packing service was world class. They even protected the floors of both our new and old house and provided cleaning, which removed the stress when handing over the keys. This is a removal company like no other. The professionalism of David and his team was remarkable.From the survey visit through to unloading the van, we have never experienced anything like it. We've just had two van-loads of large, heavy, and other items moved from Arran to Lothian and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing removal services. This included two pianos, various large and heavy sofas, and lots of other household possessions.They were professional and helpful from the outset, and coped well with the logistics of ferry timings too. I moved house at the weekend and was fortunate to use Moving Home Made Easy. I can honestly say I've never encountered such a professional moving team. On arrival the three guys introduced themselves individually and shook my hand, what a very good start!! They were friendly and nothing was too much effort for them. Not once did they complain about the many, many stairs they had to climb to complete by move, at both ends I must say. Their attitude was so positive, that even I felt all my stress being relieved.
