Ian Wright contacted me on his personal account following my post on a local page asking for someone to complete work for extra pipe work under sink to install a dishwasher and an extra electric socket. Attitude was appalling on day he did work, arrived disheveled from previous work and complained of that previous customer to me. Then couldn’t move washing machine, (as it was covid I took washing out machine and dumped on cooker due to being on a conference and working from home). Looked up from work to see my kitchen full of smoke.. he had caught the cooker knob and set the clothes on fire, then he jumped up when I yelled there was smoke and yanked the kitchen window handle off.. both of which I more than understandably said it’s an accident don’t worry. Took several weeks and several excuses to obtain a small works certificate that I asked for prior to work and was told on the day he couldn’t issue it without coming back to test it, chasing him for this was unnecessary. However, the work subsequently developed a leak, he did come out to change the connectors that he supplied. I pointed out that the cupboard was now water saturated and the wood was warping and he should make good the damage especially as I had overlooked the previous issues.. here started the attack on me..it must have been my fault the leak started because it worked fine when he left and I must have knocked it putting my kitchen products away, it was my fault that I took the clothes out the washer (that he wasn’t able to move because he said it was too heavy) and that he nearly set my house on fire, it was my fault he broke the window handle because it must have been faulty before and then it’s also not his fault the cupboard is damaged, apparently everyone has leaks and I should deal with it. When I queried his responsibility to make good the damage he stood up and stormed out of my house. Now I find myself blocked by Ian Wright so I leave you to make your choice as to whether you use his service but I personally do not recommend him. I was left replacing a washer full of clothes, instructing someone to repair the window handle and have now had to arrange someone to make good the damage to the cupboard under the sink. More...

Yes Ian did a wonderful job . He replaced light futures, and water taps in Bath room . Bathroom sink and bathroom tub. He did a excellent job. I highly recommend him.
