Paula was great, gave a very competitive quote, turned up when she said she would, worked really hard to complete the job for my elderly disabled mum. As my mum is quite vulnerable, Paula was the ideal choice to help my mum feel safe but still getting the job done well. Will definitely hire again to keep up to the weeding and pruning. More...

Paula is an absolute brilliant gardener, got straight onto the job in hand, and I now have a lovely freshly dug border. Paula is very knowlegable and gave me some good tips she is coming back to sort out my front garden for me soon. Would highly recommend.

Paula has done several different jobs for me from building furniture, transporting bikes and furniture to sorting out my mess of a garden!
!
With everything she has done she has been friendly yet professional and the quality of her work is outstanding. I now have a fortnightly slot with her which means my garden is kept looking beautiful but if I have any other odd jobs she is able to complete these too. I am extremely happy to have found Paula and would recommend her to anyone needing a reliable and trustworthy handy woman.

Paula has done many jobs for myself and my partner over the years including, picture hanging, bed assembly, gardening, light fitting and has completed each job to an impeccable standard always carrying out the set brief above and beyond.
She once came 15 miles to dismantle a guinea pig hutch and load it into a buyer's car in the rain. She was professional, kind and hard working in every job she has done for us.
We would recommend Paula to anyone.

Paula came to remove a fireplace and strip wallpaper. The quality of the work was excellent and quick and the room ended up cleaner than before she arrived.
She also decorated - she is a perfectionist and won’t accept anything less than that. She has an eye for detail and also helped to pick out the paint to match the rest of the room.
Paula is very capable at all sorts of DIY and I would always ask her advice first before attempting to fix anything in my house (and then ask her to do it anyway as she knows what she is doing!)
Other jobs she has done for me include tidying up the garden, choosing bedding plants and planting up, carpet beetle hunting, cleaning and childcare.

What inspired you to start your own business?
We all need some help sometimes and that’s what I want to offer. I started gardening and DIY as a child and it’s stayed with me. It’s so satisfying.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have provided risk assessments for safe working both indoors and out (to combat risks associated with Covid-19). These risk assessments can be found on my website.
I also produce individual assessments where necessary.
When speaking with customers I keep the 2 metre distance and wear a face covering.
At present I only take payment by bank transfer to avoid additional forms of contact.
Gardening
Weeding to maintenance of shrubs and borders. Waste removal for an additional fee
Decorating
I provide a full decorating service with insurance.
I am able to use customer sourced paints or to obtain appropriate trade paints for the job.
