Waggy Wanderers have been fabulous helping walk/entertain our big fella while myself and the wife are out at work all day. You'll get a serious amount of videograhy and photos of your prized fur ball out and about on his adventures with Laura and his wee doggy pals too which is brilliant to see. Great service 👏 More...

Laura at Waggy Wanderers Pet Care is simply amazing with our fur baby. From day one she’s worked with us to meet our dogs needs and has helped with his training hugely. Laura takes time to get to know the dogs and really does cater for individual needs. She’s also super flexible and always try’s her best to meet our schedule. I couldn’t recommend Laura more!! Added bonus that Laura shares updates/photos of the walks with us via WhatsApp and Facebook which is so lovely to see. Tweed absolutely loves his time with his Laura! More...

Laura has been, and is, a fantastic dog walker. She has been walking our dog since Lunan was just 12 weeks old (initially she did call-in puppy visits and then went from solo walks to integrating Lunan into group walks which are fantastic for socialising and tiring out our little one 😊). Laura communicates regularly with photos and videos to show how our dog got on that day/ week as well as checking in each week to ensure what services we need. Laura is incredibly flexible as she has changed days, times and even looked after Lunan in the evening time when events have arisen we have needed to attend. We landed so lucky with Laura and I cannot endorse her enough. She’s diligent, flexible and above all, a lover of dogs(and animals of all types): what else do you need from a dog walker? More...

Q&As

Learning about each individual dog and figuring out the best combination of exercise and play to really bring out the best in them.

For years I have had the privilege to work in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, and travelled all over Scotland to do my job. I grew up with dogs and have been surrounded by a variety of working breeds for the last 5 years. I decided to combine my two favourite things - working with dogs and being in the great outdoors and after lots of research and some extra training I finally launched my own business.

I provide a premium pet care service where we prioritise your pets mental stimulation as well as their physical requirements.

At the meet & greet we'll have an in-depth chat about your dog and their personality, before going on a solo walk so we really get to know each other. Following this, walks will be carefully planned so that your dog gets the very most out of every walk. Whether this is positive training to build confidence while we're out or brain games to really make them think while getting well exercised, your dog will return home happy and tired. You will get a daily update with our walking route and what activities your dog participated in.

During our other pet services (small pet boarding, let outs, overnight pet sitting) we follow the same policy, giving your pets as much enrichment and human interaction as they are comfortable with.

I am double-vaccinated and can provide masks and hand sanitiser for meet & greets in the Client's home (unless the dog is fearful of people wearing masks).

Services

When you can't take them with you, leave them with us and relax in the knowledge that your small pets will be looked after in a loving home from home environment.

Guinea pigs from £6 per night in our custom made "piggy palace", where they will be given plenty of time to roam free (supervised) in their very own room.

Smaller furries from £3 per night - enclosure must be provided. Hamsters, gerbils, mice and rats are all welcomed with as much or as little human interaction as they like.

Lizards and snakes from £4 per night depending on size of vivarium.

Birds from £4 per night.

Sorry, no rabbits at this time.

Pets are looked after overnight in your own home when you can't be there yourself. Prices vary depending on the number and type of pets present and their requirements, but start at £35.

All pet care tasks included in initial price.

Your dog is taken on an hour long wander, tailored to suit your dog's physical and mental capabilities, with plenty of games and training to stimulate his/her brain. Total length of time with pick up and drop off 60 - 90 minutes. Additional dog from same household £9. Maximum 4 dogs per group.

Perfect for higher energy dogs, we will collect your dog in the morning and take them for a longer adventure. Locations will vary but may include beaches, woodlands, or hilly hikes. Dogs are returned sleepy and content - don't expect much movement for the rest of the day! Minimum duration 3 hours but may be up to 5 depending on the walk location. These walks normally run on weekends, but please contact to enquire about a midweek wander.

A 30 minute pet visit to break up the day for your pets. Pets can be fed, watered, played with and taken for a toilet break or short walk. Perfect for dogs who are too young or old to wander far, or to give your cats and small furries some company.
