I got my bathroom refurb just over a year ago. I was delighted with it. However within a year my shower started to trip my electric and they sent out an electrician. He discovered that the electric part of my power shower was not wired properly he fixed it and gave me a new shower. This shower is not of the same quality of the original one. I'm very cross as what happened next has left me very shaken. My son, daughter and sister all told me that they had received electric shocks while showering. I contacted TBI and they sent out the electrician again. He was fantastic but he discovered that my shower had not been earthed properly. To say I was furious is an understatement. I rang to speak to Chris who owns the company and he was not available the girl on the phone was brilliant and said that Chris would ring me back that was several days ago and Chris still has not had the decency to ring me. my family could have been killed and he doesn't seem to care. I'm thinking that the only reason the situation isn't worse is because I had a rubber bath mat in my shower. As much as I loved my bathroom this has put me off this company More...

My parents (both over 60, my dad had suffered from a stroke a short time before) got TBI to do a complete bathroom refit 6 years ago. It was Chris (the founder!) who came to their house. My mum made it very clear that she wanted a hassle free refit because of my dad's condition and Chris assured her there would be absolutely no problems. The bathroom was nearly finished before my parents seen the job (as they were staying with relatives). Straight away my mum noticed that the bath and the PVC panelled roof was sitting at an angle. The bath had to be ripped out meaning all the wall tiles also had to be ripped off and the ceiling replaced!! The first time we used the shower it leaked and it took a year to get any resolution. After all this hassle we decided to get someone to look at the problem. The shower has been resealed several times but is actually still leaking and has been for the past SIX YEARS!!! The whole shower needs replaced at my parents expense, the tiles need replaced at my parents expense and the rotting wood needs replaced at my parents expense. TBI are a total disgrace of a company, taking advantage of elderly disabled people. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! More...

The bathroom looked amazing on finishing and was done really quickly. The reason we won't recommend them is that the aftercare service is disappointing. The plug in the bath broke within a year and we are still waiting for it to be fixed. It was left that they were trying to find a replacement part. That was months ago. The handles on the sink cabinet appeared to be metal but it turns out they are plastic with a metal like paint coating. This has already flaked off and looks messy. Basically the bathroom looked the part but didn't stand the test of time (the time being only a year). More...
