I have over 20 years clinical experience working in mental health services, from 1999 as a Psychiatric Nurse (RMN), and since 2008 as a Systemic Psychotherapist (MSc), and Supervisor from 2012. These professional qualifications demonstrate high levels of training and since 2008 I am registered with UKCP and have an enhanced disclosure clearance and professional insurance.

What do you love most about your job?
It is a real privilege to be given the opportunity to be trusted by people to help them make the changes that they want to make. Being part of creating that change with people is one of the most rewarding and exciting experiences both professionally and personally.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being part of big organisations for many years I began to feel and be too restrictive, due to limited resources, unnecessary processes and procedures and inadequate staffing often delaying access to assessment, treatment and recovery.
Why should our clients choose you?
With over 20 years of clinical experience in mental health services, both in inpatient and outpatient settings, public and private organisations and with dual training (previously a Psychiatric Nurse, and since 2008 a Systemic Psychotherapist) I am able to offer a professional and highly experienced quality to my clinical work. Clients tend to comment on my ability to connect and emotionally explore whilst showing kindness with direction as particularly helpful for them.

I use Zoom or Skype video-call. I am also able to provide telephone consultation.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I currently only offer remote sessions, via video-call or telephone. When I return to face-to-face (in-person sessions) I will continue to provide hand sanitizer, wipes and tissues. However as social distancing is limited in the therapy room I use, in-person sessions are not currently available.
