I posted a review today that has only shown 1 star , I was at work so clearly not concentrating fully , it should have been 5 star plus , we wouldn’t be where we are with our nutty 9 month old border collie without Helen’s support we are starting to enjoy puppy hood at last 🥰

A very happy cheerful team who adore dogs and have their well being closest to their hearts. Always bring the dog back promptly and make sure it is hosed down if dirty and dried off. Helen has great knowledge & patience , we were really struggling with our border collie puppy & her behavior but the one to one sessions helped us cope & understand Sapphire when we were at the end of our tether , we have seen so much progress & the tips we were given not only work but make sense , we are just so grateful to Helen for her continued support with Sapphires future training , if you are struggling with any type of dog behavior I highly recommend you contact Helen

What can I say.. Helen is amazing at what she does. My unruly 10 month old Labrador Wilson was well and truly in charge of our lives! We first had a zoom session to help us with loose lead walking, Wilson was off the scale when it came to pulling! We were taught some methods in which to help with that. Wilson also struggled with other dogs on our walks. Again Helen taught us how to deal with that too. Walking Wilson still isn’t perfect but at least we know how to deal with it now. Wilson was also behaving badly in the home, barking was an issue that we failed to understand why. I messaged Helen in tears and she promptly came out to do another one to one with us in the home. Helen really does have a way with dogs and understands everything about them! Once explained why he was behaving like he was and talked us through how to deal with it we are now moving in the right direction to having a calm Labrador! Don’t get me wrong we have a long way to go with him but we will be using Helen’s expertise all the way! Can’t recommend Helen enough! Thank you! More...

This morning me and my 7 month old pup Nacho had a one to one session with Helen. She was brilliant. So informative, clear and encouraging. We worked on loose lead walking and talked about jumping up. She really put my mind at ease and pointed out that even though in the past I had a 13 year old American bulldog who was well behaved and was relatively easy to train, Nacho is a completely different dog. Those training methods may not work for him. I don’t have to have all the answers, it’s ok to ask for help. Those 90 minutes have been a game changer and I feel confident about getting on and training Nacho now and hopefully not having my arm pulled out the socket anymore. Thank you so much Helen. What do you love most about your job?
I've always had a first love, and that's animals. From when I was small, anything four legged became my best friend. Over the years I have had many pets, cats, dogs, horses, reptiles, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits... it just seemed to make sense to do something that I loved! I worked for a dog walker after finishing university and I loved it.. that was only the beginning. I have two dogs of my own, they have given me the push I needed to think of this as a career.. and here I am!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been working 55 hours per week, 5 1/2 days a week for the last 3.5 years.. in a lovely air conditioned car showroom.. you'd think 'd be living the dream? I've always been an outdoor girl.. my days off are spent in the woods/on the beach/finding new walking places in my car... Coupled with my love of dogs.. it only seemed sensible to become a dog walker!
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm friendly, approachable and I will take your dogs needs as seriously as I would my own. Its a huge responsibility to look after a dog.. and I'm here to help. I know what it feels like to have to leave your dog at home while you work. Employing a dog walker was a daunting experience for me, but it was so so easy! Having been on both sides of the fence, I can appreciate your concerns and hopefully give you the necessary reassurance.
