The voice is a much sturdier instrument than most people think. If used correctly, it can fill a theatre without amplification, can go on for hours without tiring and can produce all sorts of incredible and weird sounds. But, however strong it is, it is a unique instrument that, when broken, is very difficult to fix.

Sarah is a brilliant teacher and I always leave her lessons with a big smile on my face! Before lessons with Sarah I didn't have much confidence singing, but now my confidence and understanding of the voice have dramatically improved. She takes the time to explain each technique in a way you can understand, and will always ensure you do understand. Her online singing lessons are a great way to keep up singing whilst being unable to leave the house, and give you something to look forward to. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking to improve their confidence and singing technique, or even start a new hobby. She is fab! More...

I’ve had many singing teachers over the years, but not sung professionally in the last 5 years. I decided to start up singing lessons again as I was given the opportunity to sing with an old west end legend. I tried 2 singing teachers before I found Sarah. Sarah blew me away! Not only did I feel immediately comfortable with her, but I learned more from her in an hour than I had in any other other singing lesson in my life! Sarah has such a solid understanding of vocal techniques that, unlike any other singing teacher I’ve experienced, she can clearly explain it and has the ability to make it make sense! Sarah has the amazing skill of making it happen! After each lesson, Sarah shares the score with her annotations & sends notes of what has been covered in the session, as well as giving exercises which can be practiced at home. The online sessions I’ve had with Sarah have been at least on par with her one-to-one sessions and I honestly couldn’t sing her praises any higher! Thank you x More...

Sarah is genuinely the best singing teacher I have ever had. She really knows how the voice works and can explain it to you in physical terms which really demystifies singing. I have made so much progress since I started having singing lessons with her and have begun to enjoy singing much more because of it. She is considerate and patient when things do not go quite right. Since the coronavirus recommendations kicked in she has put a lot of time and effort into working out how to deliver online lessons and they have been really effective so far. Sarah is a fabulous singing teacher. My daughter really loves her lessons and had gained so much confidence in her singing. Sarah personalises the lessons to each student and makes working on technique fun and enjoyable for young singers. She also provides lots of advice and resources to use at home in between lessons.
