The Pup Club - Not Just For Puppies

Remy is my 5 month old Cavapoo who has just graduated from the level 1 Pup Class. I initially had a one to one session with Dan who helped with me crate training and distractions on walks. After this, I decided to enrol Remy into pup classes. I find all the trainers very friendly and knowledgable and they have been a great help. I paid £100 for 4 lessons, first lesson a disaster the trainer seemed she really didn't want to be there or get involved, and if your puppy goes to the toilet (remember puppy) you are fined £10 so in my opinion it was a stressful experience with a 9 week old puppy, now found a great trainer all very relaxed. sorry pup club but a total waste of £100. My cocker spaniel Ronnie is 11months old, he’s learnt so much in a month. I can now walk him without being dragged down the street. His recall is better and much more confident. We have just completed our first few months with Dan and the team at Pup Club. Our 6-month-old Basset Hound (Macie) has thoroughly enjoyed socialising with all the other dogs. As well as the socialisation classes and walks, we have had one-to-one classes with Dan and Kira, and Macie has completed her level 1 training (not easy given that Basset’s are notoriously difficult to train). The advice we have received from Dan, Kira, Colin and Taygen has been invaluable. We’re away on holidays until September, when we’ll be signing Macie up again for further training. Not just for pups! We have a 4.5 year old rescue dog and Dan has been out for some 1:1 sessions. We saw progress from the very first visit! Dan and the team have been so supportive and are always available for advice and support. The group walks have been invaluable for building his confidence and Dan and the team are always on hand to give tips and advice along the routes. The training sessions are friendly and supportive with plenty of trainers on hand to help when your dog just wants to do his own thing!! The app is a real plus as you can rewatch the training videos as many times as you like until your comfortable with what you are supposed to be doing. I joined in Feb to get my 1 year old Staffie some obedience training and signed up to the 28 day bootcamp. Due to his very high level of excitement and fixation issues , we scheduled in some 121s. Kira has done the most amazing job with Rocco. We can now start to enjoy walks, stop him from jumping up at people or whenever anyone comes to visit. The techniques that I have learnt and how to control Rocco has been an absolute game changer for me and I am actually starting to enjoy him.so much more. This has definitely helped me build a stronger bond with Rocco and he now knows who is in charge 😉 We still have a way to go and the continuous classes will surely support and keep us both in check. Staff are absolutely amazing, friendly , supportive and non-judgement. I have felt so comfortable with all the staff. Dan has been instrumental in building my confidence handling our golden retriever who has proven to be a different challenge to other dogs and retrievers we have owned. His methods have now made tasks seamless which were once difficult and stressful. We took our mad, then 5 month old old english sheepdog to The Pup Club for level 1 training. Dan and the team are brilliant. I really recommend. We took Buddy away to Somerset at the weekend and all the shop owners in Minehead said ' isn't he well trained '. We didn't realise how much he has actually taken in as still can be super exited 😊. We recently contacted Dan to discuss some behaviour we wanted to correct with our 2 Huskies. Dan came to our home and conducted a full assessment and was very helpful in the tips and advice that he recommended to us. We are now in the first stage of our personalised comprehensive training plan and have seen some fantastic results with both Dogs. I have never used a trainer before but when we got our Cavapoo puppy we wanted to get it right from the start. Choosing a trainer was quite difficult. How do we know if we are making the right choice? My son found PupClub and made an appointment with Dan. We paid for a one off meeting to make sure we liked Dan and what he did with Ella. The results were immediate. I think I spent the whole hour with my mouth wide open in amazement. I called him the Dog Whisperer and that truly is what Dan is. Dan and his team organise many activities for dogs of all ages as well as a fantastic App where we can watch his training videos to remind ourselves on how to train her to do various things. She’s a different puppy. Sadly she was attacked on her first walk and badly traumatised. Thanks to Dan and his great team, Ella has been able to gain confidence around other dogs. We still have some work to do but we are so happy with everything Dan has done we are booking a second block of five - one to one appointments to help us as or when any issues arise with her behaviour etc. We may not need them right away but it’s nice to know we have Dan ready to help us. We've known Dan and Laura a while now, we love being motivated to do something with the dogs everyday, as a single person living alone, it's hard to socialise the dogs effectivley, it's a supportive community, the timetable is very inclusive and offers opportunity's everyday to work with your dog, offering proper consistency, we hope to make many more friends along the way, it has enriched my dogs lives and my social calendar too!

We joined Pip club at the end of June as we had just taken on my partners family dog called Oliver. He has always been nervous and never walked well when he was on the lead. After some researching we found Pup club and to tell you the truth I am so glad we did. On our first session with Dan it was very positive and no judgement given when Oliver would hide or growl. He use to hate being around other dogs and often hid away from guests in our home. We are now 2 months on and honestly it’s a different dog! He wants to play more and eager to say hi to other dogs, he hides less from visitors to our home as-well! We would never of achieved this without the help of Dan and the Pup club! He spent 3 years of his life of being scared and now is so happy and care free. That’s just after 2 months! Saw Dan recommended on a Facebook group and contacted him about our new rescue. He responded exceptionally quickly and just a day later was with us to assess behaviour with our older dog and some other behaviours that had materialised in the early days of having our new dog. He has so much knowledge and is excellent with the dog and also teaching us how to work with him ongoing. We went for the package of 5 one to one sessions and access to 28 days of classes and it's great value for money. Dan is always on hand to answer any questions and already after just one visit and one class there is a huge difference. We will be continuing to go to the classes even when the dog is fully trained. Where to begin … Pup Club has been an absolute life saver for us with our 18 month old Labrador who we rescued 4 months ago with a troubled past. We have been Pup Club members for just over two months now and the change is like having a completely different dog. The transformation from an over reactive / anxious pup who reacted to all people and dogs & excessive leash pulling (we initially spent our first session in the corner of a field due to his reactiveness) to now having a friendly boy who has made lots of doggo friends & started going on group walks and attending social play classes. The classes have been fantastic not only for our dog but for us as owners, growing our confidence and being able to meet other dog owners, some in similar situations and be apart of a community is an added benefit. We can’t thank Dan & Laura enough for all their help and support especially when we couldn’t imagine having a dog like we do 3 months ago. It’s heart warming to have trainers & other group members who are just as excited as us with our dogs progress & we can’t wait to see the progress in the coming months. Dan has always been available to answer our questions and checks in regularly to see how we’ve been getting on even outside of club! We rehomed a dog with a troubled start, with the hope of giving him the life he deserves.
What we ended up was an extremely anxious and reactive dog to everyone and everything on walks, which was becoming unbearable and really stressful for us.
Pupclub helped our dog start to feel comfortable in a secure environment with dogs and people. Within a couple of months our dog is comfortable saying hello to dogs and people, going on group walks, social play and being able to experience everything a dog should be able to. Not just that, but Pupclub’s patient and friendly support has filled us with so much confidence, whilst being able to socialise and meet dog owners in similar positions to us.
In a short space of time, we are finally starting to get the family dog we always wanted, which a little while ago seemed an impossible task
We can’t wait to see the future progress of our dog, and will definitely be lifetime members of Pupclub!

I’m so happy we joined Pup Club when we got our GSD puppy, Stark. Dan was amazing at helping us integrate him with our 9 year old Husky. They now live together in harmony! Stark went to Stage 1 training and on the social walks and his confidence just grew and grew. Pup Club is about more than just the dogs though. We have fostered a husky crossbreed and was a little lost in how best to help her as she was hadn’t had the best start in life and was suffering with separation anxiety. Not only did Dan get back to me after messaging him late at night he arranged a phone call for the next day and went through and listened to what I was explaining about our dog and gave some fantastic tips and gave us the confidence to know we had made the right decision in fostering. In just a few days of following his advice and building our dogs confidence that we will be back if she is left and practising recall on a long lead our little pooch is thriving already. We have no whining or howling when we leave the house, she is happy and listening to more commands every day. And the more trust she has in us the more her playful puppy side is coming out which js amazing to see. The pup club team are amazing. Our Rottweiler pup and ourselves learnt so much in just 4 weeks, and the social walks also helped her out with accepting and dealing with other dogs.
I would highly recommend joining the club if you want your dogs to be obedient and socially friendly.

Tedi has really benefited from being part of the pup club. He started PupSchool at 12 weeks old and learned lots through games and rewards. Dan and Laura were very supportive and were always on hand to help with any other issues that concerned me about my new puppy, as well as learning basic commands, socialisation and bonding.
I loved the range of other activities on offer too: group walks, social play sessions, early socialisation classes and even visits to cafes and pubs to teach the pups how to settle in different environments. Since finishing the PupSchool I have become a member of the pup club and it is great to be able to continue to socialise and train my puppy but also have the support of other members and the team at Pupclub. I’ve spoken to many trainers before PupClub and from the first initial conversation I knew I wanted my little Alby to attend here, since even our first session with Dan, Alby and his interactions with us has got a lot better and he’s still improving everyday with bits of advice that we get from Dan and others who attend PupClub, Alby has made some new friends and generally just a lovely service, I really wouldn’t want my Pup to be anywhere else, totally recommend you guys and will always be the first company that comes to mind for Pup/dog training! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently attended initial training classes with my Cyprus rescue boy, George. Pup Club Classes were brilliant, they really helped me bond with my dog (which is not always easy with a rescue street dog) and I've learnt some great techniques to continue to work on for lead walking and other obedience essentials. Our Husky paints the perfect picture of a dog in the home, but out on a walk is where we face our problems. Dan has helped us to understand why these situations occur, how to minimise the episodes, and how to build a stronger bond worth our dog. This progress has happened in just a single 1-2-1 session. Pup Club exceeded all expectations I had for a dog training group. Dan and the team were kind, welcoming and very understanding. I visited today with my pop up shop ‘The Pawsome Treat Company’ and was blown away by the dog family atmosphere there was and how lovely all of the Pup Club members were.
