What do you love most about your job?
Each project is different. This means we get to meet some interesting characters, beautiful homes and locations, ranging from old pubs, schools, grade listed homes and country farms.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have run my own businesses for over 30 years. After living overseas for 6 years, I was offered some consultancy work back in the UK, linked to the Asbestos sector. I decided to stay and start my own business, Surrey Asbestos Surveys.

Asbestos Sampling or Testing
Some customers, such as builders or electricians, when working. discover materials such as asbestos containing materials, otherwise known as ACM's. They are not 100% sure if their work should stop or not because they have identified ACM's. As a result of their findings they call us for to offer a test of the material, the sample is then sent to a UKAS accredited lab for testing and the results we then send back to the customer. A test or an asbestos survey should be the 1st action before any building work takes place as asbestos can be very harmful, not just to workers but also anyone within the same building.

We offer 3 types of asbestos surveys to our customers.
Management Surveys
Pre Refurbishment Surveys
Pre Demolition Surveys.
The above surveys are necessary to determine if there are asbestos containing materials in the building.
No building work or DIY should take place unless a full asbestos survey is conducted with a sample report offer where and where not these hazardous materials are found. Any buildings built pre-2000 are normally presumed to contain asbestos. That is why we must protect families, workers and staff as asbestos is known as the hidden killer in homes, offices and commercial buildings.
Non- Licenced Asbestos Removals
We specialise in non-licensed removals of asbestos.
This means we remove garage roofs, textured coatings, such as artex on ceilings, floor tiles, bitumen roof and linings, cement flues, downpipes and guttering. If these items contain asbestos such as chrysotile then we can remove. To find out if you think you have asbestos call us know for a test or a full asbestos survey report.
Asbestos Waste Management
We are licensed by the environmental agency to remove asbestos waste from your home or commercial premises. Each customer shall given a copy of a consignment note for us to take away asbestos waste.
