Structural Inspection/Survey
Stabuild provides four types for this service; Specific Structural Inspection (SSI), Structural Assessment Inspection (SAI), General Structural Inspection (GSI) and Full Structural Inspection (FSI).
Specific Structural Inspection (SSI) only assesses one area of structural concern for example a crack noted in the party wall.
Structural Assessment Inspection (SAI) assesses two areas of structural concern for example, a bowing roof and sagging floor.
General Structural Inspection (GSI) assess three areas of structural concern for example, cracking around bay window, cracking in internal walls and bowing in external walls.
Full Structural Inspection (FSI) assess the entire property, including the exterior, interior and roof space.
For each service above, a written report is also provided. In our reports, we focus on three main concepts:
1. Highlighting the structural defect noted
2. Explain why the defect has occurred
3. How to repair the defect along with rough costs
Structural Design
This service is any where from providing a structural report for a simple internal wall removal all the way to a detailed structural package for an extension or loft conversion.
All the design work includes scaled CAD drawings along with full calculations that are suitable for the use of Building Control.
