In a nutshell, SPO Systems is mobile IT Support. I assemble and repair computers, replace laptop screens and fix hardware issues, things like that. I work primarily on the road, travelling to local residents and businesses in Manchester and the surrounding areas, helping them with their IT problems.

SPO have recued me twice, once last year and again today. Sean is a really nice guy and is clear and honest with his opinions, his call out price is reasonable especially when your life is on hold because the PC doesn't behave. It is comforting to know he is just at the end of a phone and I would highly recommend SPO Systems to anybody who is at odds with this technology. More...

I really thought my PC was unfixable, but Sean fixed it in no time, quick, fast, efficient and very polite .. and didn't charge anywhere near some of the ridiculous quotes I'd had, he even picked it up and delivered it back .. Highly Recommend .. !!

Over the last few years I've been lucky enough to spend time in far flung places with my work, each time I've taken my trusty laptop but this last trip was a bit too much and on its return it started to fade away, after a brief look on YouTube I found the issue, followed the instructions and made it 10 times worse, the screen failed lost control of the pointer and couldn't do anything. I passed it on to Sean expecting a grim assessment but within a couple of hours he'd got it running, he then gave it a bit of a service and checked for signs of further damage and rescued my laptop from the edge of despair. I asked Sean to have a look at my old, slow Samsung laptop. He only had it for a couple of days and had replaced the fractured hard drive, wiped it clean and installed windows 10 onto it. It now starts up very quickly and runs multiple programmes with ease. He has saved me hundreds of pounds on a new laptop. First of all I have to qualify this review by saying the Sean who runs SPO is my son in law. That being said I gave him my knackered old Sony vaio laptop which I hadn’t used in for ever as it would not connect to WiFi and was so slow that it wasn’t worth the effort of turning it on! Sean had it for a day and not only got it connecting to the WiFi, but cleaned up all the programmes etc... on it and it is now so much quicker that I consider that I have a brand new working laptop again! So do I think it’s worth having him have a look at your computer? Definitely! More...

What do you love most about your job?
By working for myself I get to utilise all of my diverse skill set, as well as meet some really great people face to face.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always wanted to work for myself and having worked for a small time System Integrator for 7 years, things began to get stale.
