What do you love most about your job?
It is very pleasing when we can help our customers when they have been worried about the possibility of asbestos being disturbed within their property and the out come is the material is non-asbestos. It is also interesting and exciting to meet new people and also seeing a range of different buildings such as churches & old Grade listed buildings. I also like to explain to people where & what asbestos is and where it was used.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The reason I started up Spa asbestos was to become a independent asbestos company with the best practices and a clear, competitive pricing structure. I found that my passion for the asbestos industry was a niche market and very specialised.

Asbestos Surveys
We can carry out asbestos management surveys (standard type of asbestos survey, this type of survey is a legal required in some types of buildings and also ideal for home buyers - following on from a home buyers survey)
Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys (intrusive type of survey require prior to any planned refurbishment/demolition works to any type of building)
Asbestos Testing / Sampling
We can come to your home/office/factory to come and take one or more samples of suspect materials to be analysed by our chosen UKAS accredited lab. Once the sample(s) have been analysed you will be given a certificate confirming if there is asbestos present within the sample and a description of fibre type & the material type.
Asbestos Removal & Disposal
We can remove and dispose of your asbestos materials. All our works are carried out in accordance with current control of asbestos regulations 'CAR 2012' and also in accordance with HSE approved codes of practice.
