Q&As

The best thing about the job is being able to help people when they are struggling. It's an honour for people to trust me when they need support. I love hearing about what my clients are getting up to after our sessions have finished.

It was during the pandemic where I was made redundant and decided I would be able to create my own business due to my qualifications. By providing an online service, I could work from home and stay in contact with clients who were also stuck at home during the lockdowns.

I am a very dedicated counsellor who's main aim is to help and support you. The well-being and recovery of my clients is paramount to me, and I always wish to help you by providing a counselling service that is tailored especially to you and what you wish to bring into the therapy room.

I am providing an online service for clients who wish to have counselling sessions. These will be done using Zoom or Microsoft Teams. An email will be sent to potential clients, inviting them into the online therapy room.

All my sessions are online or over the telephone. There is no face-to-face contact in any way, ensuring that both the client and I are safe from Covid-19.

Services

We offer a 30 minute free session to enable clients and counsellor to meet each other for the first time. This is for you to get a feel of the counsellor and see if they are the right fit for you. This ensures a genuine therapeutic relationship can be built, which is a crucial component in the therapeutic process. It also gives you time to discuss what you wish to talk about with the counsellor.

A one hour therapy session between a counsellor and client, where the client is open to discuss anything that they wish to bring into the therapy room.

This is for all NHS staff who require 1 hour sessions between them and a counsellor. Please have your NHS ID card available during the first session so that counsellors can confirm NHS employment.
