Driveway Cleaning
Cleaning a driveway will involve using a pressure washer to remove stains, weeds, algae and moss. Once clean, we will refill joints with kiln dried sand if required. Next, sealer is applied to any cracks to prevent them from getting worse.
The time it takes to clean a driveway will depend on the size of the surface area and the condition of the driveway. The average duration for power washing a driveway is 6-7 hours for a medium sized driveway. In some cases, a chemical fungicide will need to be applied post-clean to prevent future weed or moss growth.
Roof Cleaning
There are three approaches that can be used to effectively remove moss from a roof. but we recommend Pressure washing
Pressure washing leaves your roof looking cleaner and It is cheaper, but without adding biocide treatment into the mix, there’s also a good chance the moss will grow back sooner. so we recommend Biocide treatment.
The time it takes to fully clean a roof varies depending on its size, pitch and any access issues. And of course, how much debris and moss is on the roof. Typically, you should account for at least a day for the job.
Gutter Cleaning
Why is it important to clean gutters regularly?
A gutter system is essential in protecting your home from damage, guiding rainwater away from the foundation. However, it can only do this successfully if gutters are kept clean and free of debris. When gutters fill with debris, this can cause blockages and quickly result in water seeping under the roof. No matter how gentle the rainfall, water builds up when not diverted. Eventually, this will result in a stream of water that pounds the foundation line, eroding the soil and threatening the structural integrity of your house. If your gutter is overflowing it can also stain the brickwork or render of your home. Regular roof gutter cleaning is essential in preserving your garden, as well as your neighbour’s. When left unchecked, poorly functioning gutters cannot control drainage – in some cases, this can cause rainwater to cut streams through your garden, creating pools that wreak havoc on lawns and vegetation. In winter, water blockages in a clogged roof gutter can lead to ice dams forming at the edge of your roof, preventing additional snowmelt from draining off. For the above reasons, it’s a good idea to clean your gutters at least twice a year, or more if you have overhanging trees that shed leaves directly onto your gutter system
