I have been a Graphic Designer/Artworker/Illustrator since graduating university back in 2003 - eek - so 18 years! I worked for various companies working on merchandise for big brands like Disney, Hasbro & Dreamworks to name a few. In 2011 the opportunity arose for me to go self employed and I never looked back.

Describe your creative process.
Firstly I like to go through the brief and ask questions to the client to get a feel of what the job entails and what is expected. After that I like to put together some initial ideas as a jumping off point before going back to the client with these in hand so we can move forward to developing the concept into what the client is looking for.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
A Brief, contact information and acceptance of a quote.
What do you love most about your job?
From aged 14 I knew what I wanted to do - Graphic Design, the fact I was lucky enough to know this makes me so fortunate and the fact I get to do it every day makes it even more special. I love creating new things, updating the old and the best thing is when an initial single job can turn into a long term working relationship.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After being in Licensing and working for other companies since graduation, one of the companies I worked for changed the way they were going to run the business. This was a prime opportunity for me to go self employed and to continue working for them while gaining new clients of my own and the old cliche of being my own boss. The added bonus is since having a child in 2013, being self employed and working from home has benefited our family enormously!
Why should our clients choose you?
I love a collaborative approach to design and will endeavour to deliver what in your minds eye, no matter how long it takes - sometimes the littlest of tweaks make all the difference. I'm efficient and I will always give you my honest opinion and always take on board yours too! I believe good design and achieving a great result is making sure the client is a key part of the process. That's how you get from an initial idea to a finished article that everyone is happy with.
