Richard from RJ alarms installed a new burglar home security system with door trigger and room sensors. The price was very reasonable. I was very happy with the work. He was easy to talk to and explained everything clearly. He also said for 75 pounds a year the alarm is serviced annually and also under warranty. We had pet friendly detectors installed. These wont be activated by small animals. The alarm box, sensors and control panel all look good too. The alarm also comes with a panic alarm function. More...

Had an issue with our old alarm that was sounding after electrical work and we couldn't stop it. Called RJ Burglar Alarms and Richard arrived within the hour. He fixed the problem, serviced and reset the alarm very quickly and even took the trouble to re-site a sensor and go through the other alarm modes with us. From the very first phone call regarding the pricing of the new alarm, Richard provided an exemplary, personalised service, offering a new alarm at an affordable price with great additional benefits like added equipment and annual service programmes. The set up was completed efficiently with a superb explanation of the equipment and how it all works! Richard even came back a few days later to fit an auto dial feature, after this could not be completed on the original set up day due to my own phone line issues. After a spate of attempted break-ins in the area, we felt we needed a burglar alarm fitted as a deterrent. I am very reluctant to pick a random company from a google search as I'd rather go via word of mouth, however everyone I spoke to had either had problems or could not recommend anyone local. After a long search I settled on RJ Burglar alarms and phoned and spoke to Richard. He explained all my options and was not pushy at all. He advised that he had fitted an alarm recently in the estate and had issues with the pre installed wiring the house builders had installed (or in this case not).Richard came out same day to check to see if the wiring was in place and confirmed as suspected that it wasn't, to allow me to make a choice on my alarm type.After answering a lot of questions I settled on an alarm and was booked in for beginning of December. I asked for a slot just in case a cancellation came up and sure enough he was able to fit us in today. He answered all our questions, fitted the alarm with minimal fuss and explained the reasoning for placing the alarm components and there job.Very pleased with the service particularly and would not hesitate in recommending Richard.Thank you again More...

I had an old alarm system which had never been used since I moved in 4 years ago, this was serviced and a new updated box at the front of the house was installed as this was not repairable, (the box is amazing with blue lights and a deterrent in itself). Richard was very professional, advised on all options if he couldn't get the alarm to work and was not pushy by trying to sell a new alarm system due to the age of existing one. Excellent service. Rang up in the morning as our burglar alarm hadn’t been used for some time and was no longer working. Said could fit me in the same day and Richard turned up less than an hour and a half later, and it took him less than an hour to get it all in working order for me.
