How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Most Garages will be suitable for conversion, as they are mostly situated close to the house and relevant services. Water, sewerage, electricity etc.
However these services can be run to an outbuilding if required.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Normally it requires the blocking up of the large Garage door with a window fitted in its place and maybe a new access installed from the house or external elevation. Insulation installed , very important!
Then 1st fix of electrics and plumbing etc, followed by boarding and finish of walls and ceilings before 2nd fixing and decoration.
How long have you been in business?
I have been doing this type of thing all my working life, straight from school 37 years ago.
I have worked in all areas of construction from new builds to full renovations and conversions of all types, including listed buildings and overseeing large projects, to Kitchen fitting and Bathrooms, Windows etc.
