My name is Rachael and I am a Makeup Artist, Makeup Tutor, Beauty writer and YouTube content creator based in Barnsley – although I am more than happy to provide makeup artistry both anywhere in the UK and internationally.
I gained my makeup artistry diploma from the Beauty Academy in 2012 before being offered a job and further training at Illamasqua.

What do you love most about your job?
Being able to help a client gain confidence is one of the biggest joys about my job. Today, women in particular are put under such pressure to look a certain way and it's not an attainable goal. Helping my clients to enhance their natural beauty and teaching them how to apply their makeup to enhance rather than hide their features is so important to me, and there's nothing nicer than having a client absolutely beaming at how beautiful they look and feel after their makeover.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After being brought up in a family business, it was always a goal of mine to own my own business and build my own empire. I always had a creative streak and was always particularly inspired by makeup artistry, so I enrolled to train as a makeup artist and also studied skincare so that I could understand my clients needs. I have a drive to work for myself and create something of my own making, so starting my own business in the field I'm most passionate about was a natural progression for me.
