Love Holly's classes Ruby has attended puppy class, agility, trick and obedience classes. They are fun, well structured and really work. Ruby is a better dog for it and we love her more as she is easier to handle. Holly is always ready to help with advice and ideas on any problems you may have. More...

I have just completed our first batch of agility training with Margot our 9 month old rescue. Holly is such an amazing trainer that Margot immediately seems to know what to do, even when it takes me slightly longer to catch on! We both love Holly’s classes and will definitely be carrying on. Agility is fun but has helped Margot’s general obedience no end too. More...

We had a great time at Holly's puppy classes. She kept the classes fun and gave us all the help we needed- including answering all of our questions in between classes! Our puppy loved the classes and the controlled puppy play sessions really helped to give her confidence. We will definitely be trying the agility classes next! More...

We, dog included, thoroughly enjoyed this course. The pace and content was spot on, mixing obedience stuff like 'Stay' with tricks like 'Hi Five' and 'Bow' in an easy going and relaxed environment. The socialising did him the world of good too, different dogs and situations all help. He is also alot more attentive on walks now.

Talking in class, it was reassuring to know that you don't have the only dog that has its moments. We would thoroughly recommend Holly's classes. Roll on the agility.

I would thoroughly recommend Holly's Reactive Dog Course. It has made a big difference to our rescue spaniel , Honey, who was snappy with other dogs. It has also made me feel much more confident in understanding a dog's body language and to know that I am doing the right things to help Honey to continue to make progress. Holly is a fantastic trainer and is full of great advice ! More...

My reactive rescue dog ,Max, has made such progress after attending Holly's reactive dog course. When he first started I couldn't have believed it possible.
Walks were no pleasure and had become such a problem that I used to dread taking him out knowing that he would lunge and bark as soon as he saw another dog and I was losing confidence in being able to deal with him.
Thanks to Holly he is now much calmer and responsive and I have much more confidence.
Holly is a very skilled and knowledgeable trainer and the course has made such a difference to us. We wouldn't have come so far without her! Thank you

Lotti and I are really enjoyng Holly's classes. We started with the puppy class and have now moved on to the puppy agility which gives her more to think about. Lotti is really comfortable and confident with our other 2 dogs at home but not confident with other dogs be it at home or when out walking. Hollys classes have really helped us both to deal with the issues that Lotti had/has and we are well on the way to helping her to deal with them. We're having private sessions too as I think this gives us the best of both worlds. Seeing the other dogs in the class also helps to give you some sort of perspective as to how your own is doing and although I'd say we're probably bottom of the class at the moment, look out everybody, we're going to get the hang of this sometime soon I hope!!! In the meantime as long as we're having fun and learning thats brilliant. Thanks Holly. More...

Holly explains everything clearly and patiently, whilst keeping it fun for both the dogs and the owners. Thanks to Holly and her classes Darwin is a much happier and less timid dog. We had all sorts of problems with him but now you can see the difference in him.
Holly makes her classes fun. I would advise anyone with a dog to attend her 6 week tricks and obedience course.
Her advice on how to cope with doggy problems is excellent. Now we know how to handle him , it makes owning a dog a brilliant experience.
We are on the list for the agility course and more importantly, really looking forward to it.

Holly is an excellent training who really knows and understands dog behaviour. She explains what she is trying to achieve with the dog, demonstrates it then lets us have a go. She goes round the group to give additional advise, tips and support. Every week there is a quick recap and she always asks us if there is anything else we would like cover. There are a lovely variety of tricks with obedience along side. This training is good for the dog but also very good for the owner. More...

I attended a recent Reactive dog training course with my 5yr old dog Barney. Over the years he had slowly become slightly 'fear aggressive' with some dogs. I didn't want this to becoming a bigger problem if left and also my confidence started to go and I began to avoid other dogs which wasn't right. Having completed the reactive dog course it has made a huge difference. I am more confident now as I can read his body language, this has made Barney far more relaxed and he has shown great improvement, he even plays with one of the younger dogs he used to growl at, so it's been so worthwhile. Thank you Holly. More...

Just completed a 6 week puppy training course with Rosie and would recommend to anyone with a new puppy, especially if it is their first! It's perfect for socialising puppies of the same age and to gain confidence with handling your puppy. Rosie is 5 months old and can be let off the lead on walks knowing that with a smelly treat in one hand and a firm call, she will always come back to me. We both really enjoyed it and plan to continue on to the next course to learn some tricks. Thank you Holly x More...

Holly has helped me so much with my Labrador, Brody. In the first instance, we attended her classes for puppies and then, because he was so full of energy we started Agility, which we both love! We have been to weekly Agility classes for about 16 months now and every session and course Holly has laid out has been different. It's stimulating, exciting but most of all it's fun!
Brody is very excitable and occasionally can be fearful/aggressive when he meets unknown dogs and so we attended a course of 8 sessions for reactive dogs. This helped me understand his body language much better and Holly gave me strategies to use when meeting other dogs. She has also given me advice on other behavioural issues I have had with Brody.
Holly is a professional, always takes care to minimise risks and is positive and encouraging. I can't recommend her highly enough.

We took our Cockapoo puppy, Yanni, to the 8 week course and the classes are an excellent introduction to the basics of dog training. It gave us a good grounding and my son also enjoyed being part of the class, working with our puppy and then practising the commands at home afterwards.....more importantly I think Yanni really enjoyed Monday nights!!!! I arrived at the Pro Dog School agility training having been doing agility for 4 years but have an issue with my dog spinning round and biting me. Holly is a really good trainer and although we have not totally stopped Millie from biting yet, her spinning round me is getting less and less and she is getting more confident at going ahead of me which again was something she would not do before. I am back to enjoying agility again, thanks Holly. More...

Q&As

I love helping people and dogs to make their lives together more enjoyable. A well trained dog is often happier and is always a pleasure to live with. Pet ownership has been proven to help with many health issues and I firmly believe that many benefits come from owning them.

Holly

I wanted to help people understand and work with their pets better through behavioural rather than medical therapy. By nature, I am a fixer (my second career is in data analysis) and get a buzz out of figuring out how to motivate animals and humans a like to do what we would like them to do.

Holly

I am passionate about motivating people and their pets to work better together to ensure that both sides are getting the most of their relationship. No person or animal are the same and so I have a flexible, non judgemental and laid back approach to improve learning environment.

I have spent many years and much money training to be a dog trainer and behaviourist. I have a degree in Animal Behaviour Science and have also been tested and approved by the following associations:

Agility Club
Behavioural Adjustment Training
Association of Pet Dog Trainers

I have also passed many courses such as first aid, how to teach people and puppy training.
