Placing people in jobs and finding the right candidates for a commercial company/home feels so good.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As the founder of Pristine Touch Recruitment, cleanliness is something I hold close to my heart for my many reasons. I have grown up around clean freaks and it's stuck with me. Most importantly the proven positive impact living and working in a cleaner environment has on our mental health is a big thing for me. Maintaining cleanliness can be such a chore with our busy, non stop lifestyles, especially when you cannot avoid cleaning, ever. As long as you are using an area you have to maintain it otherwise it will get messy. Accepting this, I personally decided to get a cleaner. There were many cleaners available out there, but I always felt when it came down to getting one I would shy away. I realised this was because I'm essentially allowing a stranger to walk into my home and have access to my most personal of spaces. It dawned on me how important it is for people and companies that hire cleaners to feel they have hired someone trustworthy and genuine working in their space. I started a cleaning specific recruitment company not only to support companies/people with hiring cleaners, but also to ensure my clients feel comfortable and trust who they are hiring. That's where Pristine Touch comes in.

Most business we receive requires the candidates to be present. If you have a cleaning role that can be done remotely we can and will still support you in filling this role.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
If vaccinated cleaners are a preference for you due to helping support a safer environment we will specifically list this requirement in the job advert. All our cleaners are up to date with government guidelines and still support social distancing and mask wearing rules even where it is not mandatory. Our cleaners are also personally provided with hand sanitisers on a monthly basis from Pristine Touch.
