Under new mgt, I rented a car in early Sept23 - impressed by customer service & effort by Paul and his team. The car I'd hired had been damaged by previous driver so I was upgraded to new Mazda3. Patiently shown how to use all the features with good advice given about CDW. Delayed on return, but no hidden charges for a late return and was even driven down to railway station to not miss train. Please DO NOT hire a vehicle from these people!! U will be conned way above and beyond for charges that u shouldn't be paying. Myself and my husband hired a van which cost £99. When we hired the rain was heavy and they quickly showed us round the van. On returning it they pointed to a dent on the top which must have bn there as we only moved some boxes a few miles between addresses and had no problems. Final cost in charges on top of £99 £985 which was taken from account! Pls stay away and save yourselves a lot of money! These guys shud be wearing masks! More...

I would advise against using this van hire. Illegally charged balance against credit card on file for a disputed balance - now having to pursue legal action to correct this. As such, I would recommend avoiding this place. More...

Wrongly charged for damages! I was charged £545 for this damage. I offered to find a mechanic to get other quotes (before any work was done) but they only work with the 1 quote that they give you from their chosen mechanic. Really bad experience as a customer. Hired a van on 30th September the rain was lashing down, on being shown around the van for previous scratches and dents the guy admitted that they couldn't be seen because of the rain. Low and behold return it the next day and the first place he goes and looks was the top rear of the van to point out 2 dents. I will be on to my solicitor first thing on Monday. More...

If you want to be ripped of hire a car from these people. We got charged for damage that we didn't do.(Edit) Thanks for your reply after 3years! !, we had come up by coach over night and was absolutely shattered when we arrived. We were quickly shown around the outside of the car only and loaded our luggage and went off to get to our accommodation ASAP. Me, my wife and 2 children (who were 3 & 5 at the time) do not smoke and have never smoked it is illegal to smoke in a confined space with children present and we do not let our children play with lighters or matches or anything else that sparks. The burn in question I seem to reminder was very small in the front centre of the rear seat. I really do feel strongly we were ripped of by Practical Car Hire in Glasgow, my review still stands. Very poor service. Very happy to welcome you in and see you go...... BUTWhen you return they have fast look over the rented vehicle and then good to leave, They have kept your credit card details and then call wanting cash for hidden charges that arent on the agreement. I needed a vehicle at short notice and was extremely happy with both the customer service and the emaculate condition of the vehicle. The car was spotless and there was no damage anywhere.
