We've completed 2 courses with Paws 4 Training, the puppy training and the novice obedience course and we loved both! Has been great for shaping Chester's behaviour and it's really fun too! I love coming just as much as Chester does haha! Naomi is really helpful and creates a relaxed atmosphere so you never feel under pressure (especially if your doggy is having an 'off' day!!) We love how it's all about positive reinforcement and we are looking forward to starting the Intermediate course in the future! More...

I honestly can not praise paws 4 training enough. They have been a god send for my little Thistle. He has been trained by myself since he was a small pup as no training centre near to me would accept him because they said he had no focus and was never going to amount to anything. I searched long and hard for a training centre that would let him come train and be himself. Well the long search was more than worth it. He has just passed his bronze obedience today with paws 4 training and passed with 100% and all the staff were every bit as proud of him as I was. He has done a sent course with them and attends agility and also did some flyable training with them that has opened a whole new set of doors to him. He is 17 months old now and his confidence is back from all the knocks of attending other classes with other trainers and being told to wait in the corner and not allowed to join their classes. Just completed our first Foundation Course at Paws 4 Training. Billy and I absolutely loved every lesson we had and it made me realise just how happy he is when he has to use his brain, think about things and work solutions out himself. Naomi is a lovely trainer, she is very patient and kind and the whole set up is professional, while managing to be super-friendly and relaxed at the same time. For me, having my first puppy ever it has been great having someone to help me, you can read all the books in the world, but you do need to tailor things to your own dog's ability. We will be continuing with the next course in June and putting into practise all we have learned so far for the next few months. More...

I attended the scent workshop with my dog bear. He thoroughly enjoyed the event and picked it up really quickly and was sniffing out hidden items by the end of the session on command. I would recommend attending this workshop with your dog. More...

Naomi and her little team are amazing! They are such lovely people and are very knowledgable. They care so much about all of the animals, it's very clear to see this :) They are also extremely patient and can offer different strategies that suit your dog. I have been attending the puppy life skills course with my little Yorkipoo Luna and the difference in just two weeks in her behavior is incredible. I can't stress how happy I am with her progress and that's all thanks to the team at Paws 4 Training. I highly recommend their training sessions. Have just completed the Bronze Obedience with Riley my English Springer Spaniel (almost 3yrs) who definitely needed help before. Before coming to Naomi he was all over the place, scanning constantly for anything that made a noise, moved, flew, you name it. Getting his attention was nearly impossible. Now he is improved so much that taking him for walks off lead is becoming a lot easier. He pays me more attention and doesn't go as far, always checking where I am and returning frequently. His recall is greatly improved and Im sure will get even better with continued training and more classes as I intend. It has been difficult fitting the training individually in as I have two other dogs that have done the Bronze course, but Naomi is always helpful with individual problems and gives great advise to suit. All dogs will be going on with further training at Paws 4 Training and I can't recommend her classes more highly, even when you think it won't work, Naomi has a way. :) More...

Chester and I loved our training at Paws 4 Training. We completed the puppy life skills and then the bronze classes. Naomi is brilliant, and really encouraging and reassuring. Everyone comments on how well behaved Chester is for his age. Naomi also offers advice and answers all questions which is great when you have a new puppy and unsure on many things. Just finished my bronze obedience class with my nearly 2 year old Labrador fudge. I was really nerves to start training again, due to bad experience from another trainer. But was but at ease. Both me and fudge have really enjoyed the training and it has helped a lot with walking, meeting other dogs and being in a different environment. What was also good with P4T that don't just train your dog, they give helpfully advice which has helped us a lot with fudge to have a food that doesn't upset him and also to have one of there wonderful hand made harness and lead that has helped a lot with walking.
