If you're pondering whether to go to a Pilates or fitness class and wondering it's for you or not, then this is the place to start! It doesn't matter if you've done it before or a newbie, or what size or ability you are. Leila runs friendly, relaxed, informative classes that really make a difference. I hadn't done any fitness class for 30 years when I started classes with Leila just over 2 years ago. I now have massively improved movement, flexibility and core strength. It's brilliant! I now try to do a Pilates class for mobility and stretching, and a more physical Core Conditioning for Athletes course every week (I'm no athlete) . I started with beginners Pilates and very quickly felt the difference and have progressed from there. The Core Conditioning For Athletes course is just the thing if you want to push yourself that little bit more. Leila builds in options to make it easier or harder to suit everyone. It's based around a circuit type of exercising but without the gym type circuit training that is so off-putting. Most of the exercises are achieved using your own body weight or rubber bands similar to Pilates so no pumping iron! Built into the session is a thorough warm up and a good warm down/stretching/Pilates type section at the end which is so important and often overlooked. There are all shapes, sizes, ages and both male and female. Nobody's looking and nobody is interested in what the others are doing so there's no excuse not to do it. Have a go, you won't regret it! I’ve just started a Pilates course with Leila for horse riders. It’s really important that riders have strong cores. Without this, we can’t use our body effectively to influence a horses movement and we become too reliant on the use of hands which is incorrect. In addition to this, we have a responsibility to look after a horse’s own musculoskeletal system and a lot of damage to the horse can be caused by riders who don’t sit correctly. We can cause pain and incorrect muscle build up in the horse. Leila understands perfectly the areas which are important to be strong fir those who ride horses. In tonight’s class, she explained things v clearly in terms of what was required from each movement and the reason why. Really great class and looking forward to the next 5 x More...

First time doing a Pilates class and Leila is fantastic. She makes you feel at ease from the very start. We began with the basics, which was great for me and then very unwittingly she puts you through your paces until you are at the harder levels. I am addicted. Cannot wait for next week. Xx More...
