Our pug puppy Freddy was born blind and I needed help with understanding his behaviour and to learn the right techniques on how to deal with him and his condition. Silva helped by enabling me to understand the correct phrases and commands that would be easily understandable by Freddy, making his life without eyesight much easier. He is now so much more confident stepping outside and onto new surfaces and conditions and is as curious and obedient as a dog fully able to see the outside world.Silva was extremely patient with Freddy and took time to understand his character and develop his learning over only a few weeks.I would definitely recommend Silva to anybody who’s just bought a puppy, or is thinking to do so, and needs the right guidance by a trained professional on giving it a happy and structured start in life! It was really enjoyable and informative working with Silva. She helped me understand my dog’s behaviour and what signs to look out for that he is stressed. I actually needed to work on my own confidence with situations such as passing other dogs and people with Pancho and how best to manage the encounters using distraction and positive reinforcement. It was a great start to what will be a lifelong approach when dealing with my nervous dog but I have learnt techniques that I can call upon daily. My Shipoo Benji has just finished his four sessions with Silva and has done superb. He is just over one and didn't have any recall, jumped up and barked at visitors, rushed to the door, ate everything and kept running off and didn't follow instructions very well. In the four sessions he now comes back when off the lead with a whistle and clicker, stays on his mat when the door goes and has learnt 'off', 'heel', 'stay', 'leave' and a few other commands. He learnt them super quick and absolutely loved Silva (and her treats!). we will certainly be carrying on with all we have learnt. Highly recommend Silva for new puppies and older dogs. More...

Silva was a great help to us and our rescue dog Poppy, who came to us at 11 months old having had no training nor socialisation whatsoever in her short life. Silva gave us the confidence and the techniques to help poppy understand and feel happy in many in varied environments. With Silva‘s help Poppy is learning quickly about the world around her; she is very much a work in progress, but improving every day. We Called Silver to come and get to know Buttons a Patterdale terrier he had quiet a few problems with cars other dogs and general fears. Silver was fantastic with him he took to her from the first lesson Sorting all his fears off traffic and people Silver is so patient.
