Having investigated various German kitchen suppliers on the internet and in local showrooms, I initially chose Paul Turnham kitchens to renovate my kitchen mainly because a) I felt their designer, Paul Harrison, was very friendly, knowledgeable, had realistic ideas and expectations and would be easy to work with, and b) they were interested in doing the whole job, including putting down a new floor in the kitchen and hallway, not just the design and fitting of the units – they would look after the whole thing including any necessary building work and I wouldn’t have to coordinate the job myself.
Paul Harrison knew their products inside out, including not only the Schuller kitchen units, but also the appliances, worktops and so on. He came and measured my flat, produced good plans, went through them carefully with me, adjusting here and there according to my likes and dislikes and was always in a good mood even when I turned up unannounced in the showroom and wanted to make yet more changes. He went through the various options for appliances with me, explaining the various features and discussing the pros and cons, gave me an estimate for these, and then sent me away to look at the full range and make a final choice. He didn’t bat an eyelid when I changed almost all of them, some up, some down; I’m really pleased with my choices and also with the prices he got for me.
The job was completed very professionally by Paul Turnham, who looked after the installation, plumbing and electrical fittings, and called in specialists such as a plasterer and a flooring fitter, who put in my wooden floor really well despite the brand I had chosen being new to him.
Now, 6 months after it was finished I am still really pleased with it, and I would heartily recommend them to anyone. More...

Paul Turnham Kitchens renovated our kitchen in October 2016 and we are extremely pleased with the result.

During visits to the showroom we felt that the designer listened to our requirements and preferences. Using his expertise, he also made some helpful suggestions and produced a design for us which we were happy with. Our kitchen is not particularly large but the designer helped us plan a good layout of units and appliances, giving us plenty of cupboard room and using the space efficiently.

The kitchen fitters were reliable, courteous and pleasant. Whenever we raised questions these were dealt with promptly and professionally. The work was carried out to a high standard.

We are delighted with the kitchen we now have. We feel it reflects our ideas and that we have benefitted from the expertise of the firm we employed. We would certainly recommend Paul Turnham Kitchens to others. More...

Paul Turnham Kitchens were a fantastic team to work with on our new kitchen - over the course of a couple of weeks, we worked together on several designs with them until we arrived at the perfect layout for us. They listened carefully to our needs and recommended brilliant ideas to complement them. The German Schuller kitchens which they work with are fantastic - available to suit every price point and very thoughfully designed in a range of brilliant colours and finishes. The team also sourced all our appliances at very competitive prices and provided our beautiful glass splashback. Design Stage - a great deal of effort was put into getting the design just as we wanted it and exploring the various alternatives . and also sourcing the specific equipement we requested. The Siemens ovens and dishwasher that were recommended have proved to be extremely flexible, efficient and easy to use.
Construction Stage - started on the date promised and was well organised with the various trades generally appearing on time. In particular the flooring was very well done given the complete mess of uneven quarry tiles that were in the existing kitchen. Overall the work took less time than we had expected which was a bonus. Paul Harrison of Paul Turnham kitchens provided the design service for the modification to the internal layout of our kitchen, dining room and utility room and the installation of the new kitchen. He produced a number of design options and managed to incorporate all the elements we wanted to include. He helped maximise the space available. We were very pleased with our new kitchen. We were particularly impressed with the number of times Paul allowed us to change our minds about the design and his input in getting the best out of the space available. We now have the luxury of so many cupboards we cannot remember where we have put things! That is not a complaint.! We love the modern and clean look. The quality of the kitchen is of the highest standards. The extras such as the bin system work really well for modern living. We are glad that we followed advice in replacing the fridge and freezer. It is great to have these large fitted appliances.
We are also grateful to Paul for all his patience when our builders kept missing deadlines thus postponing the fitting of the kitchen several times.
The kitchen was fitted quickly, smoothly and efficiently.

We had a new kitchen installed. The guys who designed it made sure they understood what we wanted from a kitchen, they put a lot of effort in to make sure that our requirements were met while keeping the design as sleek as possible.
We used the fitters provided by the kitchen firm and they did a good job. They were neat, tidy and had a lot of respect for our home while working here which meant a lot given we were having other building work done at the same time and those builders didn't have a lot of respect for the house as our home. My only grumble, and it is a small one, was that the installation costs were not detailed enough so we had one or two surprise costs which we assumed were included but were not.
Overall we're very happy with the service we received (both from the designers and the fitters) and the quality of the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to update their kitchen More...

We have used Paul Turnham Kitchens twice, once for our own kitchen where structural work had to be done and once for a rental property where it was just fitting a basic kitchen. On both occasions they where very helpful from the design to the completion.
I would definitely recommend them as the quality of the kitchen is excellent, and the workmanship on mine is very good. In fact on the rental property, they came in over the Easter weekend to fit as I needed it fairly quickly. More...

We went around the houses as one would,but we selected Paul Turnham Kitchens for several reasons,they were patient in design/changes,Great German engineered product,ontime project management,a complete top to bottom service unlike other Famous names where every little extra is charged separately.
Both Paul and Chris who installed the complete kitchen were courteous ,hard working and a few obstacles were resolved to our satisfaction,and all finished to an aerospace standard.

Eager to appoint a local company to source a quality kitchen for our new home extension last autumn, we had several 'false starts' before finding Paul Turnham Kitchens in Coney Hall, Kent. Specialising in a German company called Schuller, the shop Manager/designer Paul Harrison was able to respond very quickly with his deep knowledge of this beautiful 'handleless' product, with superb computer-generated images and drawing suggestions - virtually overnight. There followed a number of short, friendly and hugely helpful meetings at the shop at which every feature was discussed, priced (there and then) and added or discarded according to our instructions. German engineers are famous the world over of course, and what we ended up with was exactly what we specified - down to the last detail, and wonderfully designed and constructed. We were offered a fitting service by Paul, but decided to go with our builder's 'in-house' carpenter/fitter who had never fitted a Schuller kitchen before, but who spoke extremely highly of it as he worked. Paul Harrison turned up on the day of its delivery to introduce himself to our fitter, and to offer advise should it have been required. Everything was there, and our entire installation has a unique identification number making each and every part and item of it replaceable - should the need arise. It arrived on time and for a fixed price. We were kept informed by Paul as to its construction and shipping progress - a period of 6 weeks or so. Paul was happy to provide detailed drawings and measurements to our builder, and liaised as required to ensure a seamless installation.
