There’re few things in life better than the companionship of a dog – their loyalty, their company, our history – which can make it all the more difficult if they’re proving a little harder to train than anticipated. Whether it’s bad behaviour, an unwillingness to learn, or you simply want to make sure your dog is getting the physical and mental stimulation they need to stave off boredom, hiring a specialist trainer is the key to ensuring your dog is kept safe, fulfilled and content.

That’s where I come in. I’m Adam Wilson of Parkview K9, an intuitive, compassionate and honest dog trainer who understands that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to dog training and behaviour. I apply my hands-on experience and education in all aspects of dog care to ensure your dog is given the one-on-one care and attention needed to improve their – and your – quality of life. Problem behaviour can develop at any age and for any number of reasons, meaning there’s no cookie cutter approach when it comes to identifying and fixing the issue. Instead, I work with your dog on an individual, case by case basis to get to the root cause of the problem and educate you on the what, why and how.

For years I volunteered in local animal shelters, walking and training dogs before running a successful dog daycare centre, working with just about every breed, temperament and problem you could imagine. Like you, I too made mistakes along the way, and I understand how hard it is to feel helpless. Like you’ve failed to support your dog when they needed you most. I get it. After experiencing personal hardship with a reactive dog of my own, I worked with many trainers across all backgrounds and quickly realised just how polarised the world of dog training truly is. With one trainer telling you one thing, and another trainer telling you the opposite, who do you trust? If there’s one thing two trainers can agree on, it’s that the third trainer is wrong.

It was then that I decided to make it my mission and help as many people as I could who found themselves in a similar situation I was and were ready to give up all hope on any meaningful change.

Dog training and behaviour modification can be a confusing and daunting game. It certainly isn’t something which happens overnight, but with patience and the right understanding, together we can ensure that you and your dog have the best relationship and quality of life possible. By offering truly bespoke training which is specific to you, your dog and your circumstances, I’m here to prove that any dog can be motivated and trained to become the very best they can be.
