General building services
From new builds to renovations and extension projects, we take on construction projects in all sectors from residential to commercial. We can help with home renovations, renovating or restoring outbuildings, office block construction projects and more.
Drainage
We specialise in all aspects of drainage and drainage groundworks, from planning drainage systems to land drainage and garden drainage, storm drains and drain alterations. Foul water drainage and septic tanks planning and installation, sewer diversions and commercial drainage.
Foundations
Foundations are arguably the most important part of any build. We can assist with planning and laying any type of foundations, from concrete foundations for new builds and industrial projects.
Substructures
As with foundations, it’s always important to get the substructures right as the whole of the building's weight is supported through this block work. The most common type of substructures we use is generally trench block laid directly on the foundations with a concrete structural slab laid on top of the trench block.
However if deemed necessary we will trench fill the foundations and sometimes combine them into a raft foundation.
Paving & Finishes
Paving and finishes is is an area we really enjoy, as it provides the high quality finishing touches which everyone gets to see, use and enjoy.
Experience is crucial at this stage of the job, as you need get the right sub-bases from the beginning to avoid any settlement in the future - particularly important if heavy vehicles will be using the space.
We work closely with premier suppliers such as Marshalls and Bradstone as the trade support and backup is invaluable and allows us to offer our customers a wide range of finishes.
Service Trenches
We have lots of experience working with all the main suppliers of gas, water, electric and telecoms (BT). We find these relationships are a real help when you are trying to get all the services in the same trench, or inspected and connected as quickly as possible, as open trenches can be a real problem from a flooding and HSE point of view.
This is another aspect of the job that's crucial to get right. Whether it’s a service connection to a single new build, retrofitting a fire hydrant or a simple service run to a new stable block, we would welcome the opportunity to get involved with your project.
Concrete Slabs
We have lots of experience in laying concrete slabs, whether it’s working from a designer or structural engineer's drawings to achieve a floated floor or using experience to liaise with private clients to put together and action a plan to their specifications.
