I am a strategically minded and commercially focused finance director with significant corporate finance experience. I offer SMEs first rate strategic and financial advice without the need to make an ongoing overhead commitment to a first rate salary. I am available on a flexible basis for anything from 2 days per month to 2 days per week, or on a project basis, to help small to medium sized companies with strong growth potential.

Companies I work with typically have sales of between £1m and £20m where achieving growth requires a strengthening of the management structure, improved management processes, financial reporting and financial systems.

The companies I work with often need access to third party finance but lack experience and expertise in fundraising and corporate finance.

Whilst scale up companies need this strategic financial advice and mentoring they are normally short on cash and unable to afford a first rate finance director until they have achieved the growth they are targeting. I can fill this gap for them during this critical growth period, so increasing their chances of success.
