If you’re looking for someone to teach you the ‘soul’ of playing guitar then look no further. Owen gave me more every lesson than I could ever give him credit for. He captured what I needed to succeed as a guitarist in about 2 minutes, he nurtured my playing and directed me where nobody had before. I gained more than a guitar lesson, I gained expression and thought, to this day his guidance is present in every note I play. I humbly thank him for everything he is. More...

Owen is a patient, respectful teacher who is dedicated to helping his students reach their full potential as well as an extremely talented artist in his own right.

Owen deacon has been my, singing teacher for a number of years and has helped me progress from an amateur singer to a professional one.
He has encouraged and believed in me, even when I doubted myself and he is always available if I have any questions; whether it’s about the lesson, my progress or even a general question about music itself.
He is reliable, reasonable and is a fountain of knowledge regardless of music genres etc.
I look forward to our continuous work to together and I thank him for the previous work he has already put in

What do you love most about your job?
When I first stated to play the guitar, I found that there were many schools of thought, concerning methods. It becomes complicated, and I believe, in those early years, my playing suffered. What I really love about this job is seeing new guitar players discover the instrument, without the maze of choice, of books and learning techniques, that bogs down the learner. I love to see when the new player settles with his/her instrument, and then the real joy of playing kicks in, but the ultimate joy of doing this work, is seeing the growth of the new guitarist, into a confident, expressive and creative player.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been blessed in my musical walk. I have sung in a choir, played in my first band at the age of 11, Played trombone in a local brass band, and more recently, I've been involved in Gospel music, and providing Praise and worship in local churches. Through my work with the Church, I have always been encouraged to use my gift to help others, So I began saying yes to anyone who asked me to help. one thing lead to another. The rest, as they say, is history.
Why should our clients choose you?
I take great pride in what I do, and I am patient. most of all, I love to see results. I'm here to help you to realise the journey, and assist you every step of the way.
