Emma is an absolute pleasure to work with - from start to finish. She helped us re-design our ground floor living space and this was the first time I had used an interior design company. Since then, and as testament to how much we loved working with her, Emma has helped re-model the interiors of the rest of the house and I wouldn't be without her! Working with Emma from Oh I Love That was an absolute pleasure! Our project was complex and the spec demanding: we wanted a home that will bring us joy and lift our spirits every day and will keep its charm over the years. Emma’s ingenuity and expertise delivered on all aspects designing a beautiful and practical home for us. Emma created beautiful mood boards which incorporated all of our desires and took the time to explain the concept and answer to our questions. Having moved 8 times over 12 years, I had run out of ideas for our new home. Emma from Oh I Love That came and talked me through some ideas and gave me the impetus to get decorating again. Her approach was very different from any interior professional I had used before. She listened to my thoughts and concerns and stuck rigidly to the budget I had in mind. Her openness meant that I didn't have to do the entire house and ended up focusing on a couple of rooms. Whatever I needed, she could source. I am delighted with the result!
My project involved decorating and furnishing a large sitting room from scratch. I didn't know where to start!
Emma helped me to think about what I needed from the room and how to best arrange the seating and lighting to make the best of the space. I knew I wanted greys and teal as well as brighter accents and Through her contacts, Emma had my beautiful ottoman made exactly as I wanted it for substantially less than the cost of similar ottomans I had seen online. What’s your interior design process?
We believe design should be accessible so we don't have rigid packages and we provide varying degrees of service to make sure that all budgets are catered for. You may have one room that needs attention, or need help to make the most of your upcoming extension, perhaps the whole house can do with a little extra love and attention. Whatever the situation, we're here to help and to take the stress out of renovating.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Our studio style is understated luxury but our client's style is the most important to us. We love to design rooms comfortable, special and reflect the people that live there.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to see how transformative design is. Seeing clients a month or a year on in their designed space and seeing how much joy they have gained from the deign is the best part of the job.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are passionate about interior design. For us that means designing spaces that work for the people that live in them. Your home can bring you so much joy and even change the way you feel about yourself. We listen very carefully to your needs and desires for your space in order to create something beyond your expectation that makes every day a joy.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
We provide a reduced online services for customers who are outside of our travel area or feel more comfortable working remotely. Please note, we cannot offer full service design remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We limit the number of face to face meetings wherever possible. When face to face meeting are necessary we wear appropriate PPE and keep our physical distance.
Full Service Design
Whether you are undertaking a full scale renovation or a small bathroom revamp, we can help. We take the stress out of all of the decision making and we translate ‘trade speak’ so you don’t have to worry about all of the technical jargon used by your contractors. We will be on hand from the beginning to the end to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Designer For a Day
Perhaps you have a gist of where you would like to head with your design and you just need a reassuring hand on your shoulder or you need to make some decisions really quickly. We can offer a designer for the day to assist you with shopping, finalising purchases and making those all important decisions.
Remote Design
If you need help pulling a scheme together and would like a design and list of purchases to implement at your leisure then this service is for you. It starts with an initial call or video conversations to assess your needs and ends with you having a list of all the items to need to make your dreams a reality.
