Dog Walking

Tom has been very professional from the first time we were in contact.
He’s extremely knowledgeable and experienced with dogs and I am delighted to have him walk my dog on a regular basis.

Q&As

I love bonding with different dogs and seeing their personalities come through when they are enjoying themselves. No two dogs are the same which presents a different type of challenge whether that's dealing with a senior dog or puppy, small or large dogs. It makes no difference to me if the sun is shining or it's hammering with rain, I like to get out and provide the stimulation a dog needs.

I was stuck with what I wanted to do full time, I'd ventured down multiple avenues including university but nothing was sticking. As I'd previously looked after family and friends dogs, I knew that people would always require that service and post-covid I was also aware that more families had dogs and would need help once life had returned to normal. Digging deeper it disappointed me to see the number of dogs also going into rescue because families had no-one to look after their dogs, and therefore I believed that I have enough experience having always been with dogs that I could give a service that keeps their dog exercised and mostly importantly keeps dogs at home.

I genuinely love to spend time with dogs, they seem to provide something that humans don't! I have spent a lot of time putting research into the varying breeds to understand what any dog may present behaviourally when they are in my hands, but also what I can do to ensure any breed fulfilment to make the best out of my time with them, for example a Labrador retrieving a ball, a Terrier chasing a toy, a Doberman tugging on a toy. I will also be looking to take a course in the future to further my learning about dogs and so provide an even better service.

Services

I offer the service of dog walking with the aim of fulfilling both mental and physical stimulation. I look to gain the trust and form a good bond with your dog, whether through play, food or general affection. My current preference is to walk each clients dog solo unless it is a multiple dog household so that the clients dog has my full attention, and therefore I can provide the best fulfilment to your dog.
