I came across Oakmont via a client I had undertaken some work for, we got talking about the letting of properties and they gave me Dans details. I contacted Dan and from the start I just really liked his approach and mannerisms. He gave me honest and sound advice for a property over in Romford that I wanted to rent out. I was quoted ridiculous prices to find a new tenant plus management fees. Dan was very transparent with the costs involved, which I have to say are very very reasonable. I gave Dan the keys and he arranged the viewings, found the best tenant for me and sorted all the associated paperwork that comes with it. When it came down to the few tenants Dan put forward I even gave Dan the choice to put forward the most suitable tenant because he would be the one managing the property. I didn’t think the process of renting the property out would be so smooth as it was because there always seems to be an issue with anything these days but credit to Dan he exceeded my expectations. I was very nervous as a first time seller and initially intimidated by the process. Dan came round with all the relevant information and was able to answer all my many questions with the highest level of knowledge. The photos Dan took of my house were exceptional and he was able to sell my property after only 3 days of being on the market. I recently completed on the sale of a one bedroom retirement flat in Brentwood. Oakmont was recommended to us via a friend and from the very beginning of the process, I was impressed with Dan's market knowledge and honest feedback on the price achievable. A number of potential buyers were found and Dan kept us in the loop regarding showings and possible offers. We eventually agreed a sale, very close to the original asking price and the sale process began. Due to the nature of selling a property with a lease, information is required from numerous third parties, which can take sometime. Dan's communication throughout this stage was excellent and he went beyond my expectations of an agent, calling all parties and chasing anyone who needed chasing. We were kept fully updated during the sale and Dan always answered or returned calls. Just knowing what was going on, or when something was expected to progress, made this process less stressful.
