What’s your interior design process?
To look at the existing space, record measurements and take photographs. This can be achieved via our web site or with a complimentary home visit
Listen to the clients expectations and ideas, to outline a working design brief.
The process would then take a period of time between 2 - 6 weeks, depending on the size of the project.
In this time we will plan and analyse the interior, taking into consideration lifestyle and location. Make Concept boards to fit the clients budget and chosen style.
The concept would include a choice of samples: fabrics, paints and wallpapers.
This would either be posted out, with complete instructions on how and where to apply and make changes or we would arrange a site visit, to look at the concept together in the clients home.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
No 8 caters for most interior styles. The focus is on achieving the best interior space for the client and keeping within there specified budget.
What do you love most about your job?
I have been working with interiors for 20 years. We spend 80% of our time within the home. To live in a well design space with plenty of storage, brings a balance into daily life. When the work is complete and the interior is transformed, this brings a sense of happiness and achievement to the client and there family's.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Interior design is a luxury service which can be expensive. No8 reaches out to people who aspire to having a lovely home and follow trends through the internet and social media. But how do they transform this look into their homes successfully? No 8 can simply offer advise which is personal to the clients space, without the expense of using a full interior design service.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a fully qualified designer (Ba Hons) and have worked with interiors for 20 years. Within this time i have undertaken jobs on many different projects, helping people with their homes, to achieve the ultimate look. Spacial awareness and planning is an important part of the initial process, looking at storage solutions and much more. The interiors i design are modern, uncluttered and well thought through.
