Now EV previously installed an EV charger and we had a great experience with this install. 6 months later we decided to get a solar panel and battery system installed and contacted Now EV (Michael) aswell as other Solar installers. Michael was the most transparent and trustworthy out of everyone we spoke to and explained in detail all of the options along with which optional extras added value (i.e. Eddi) for our specific install and what would not add value for us (i.e. Optimisers). The quote provided explained the entire system, total install cost and what savings would be made along with payback period. The installation was booked and Michael was extremely professional throughout this. Michael took us through how to use the system and settings at the end and has always been able to help with any questions after the install. We have just had solar panels, a storage battery, a smart car charger and immersion heater installed, with a very positive experience with NowEV throughout. We set up a solar panel system twelve years ago. Lately, we believed it would make sense to add a battery system onto it to maximise our usage of solar power generated. We had a few quotes but we chose Now EV, not the cheapest. Michael is very knowledgeable and he spent time in explaining what can be done and what can't be done. After being let down by some of the "big names" in solar panel installation, I contacted Now EV for an initial quote. Michael took the time to perform an on-site survey, design the system most suitable for my home and needs and provide a detailed explanation of the elements in the design. He even installed an EV charger at the same time. After this, proceeding to the actual installation was a seamless process. We chose Now EV because from the beginning Michael demonstrated a level of knowledge and competence that gave us the confidence that the work would be carried out to a high standard. The system that was installed included solar pv panels, inverter, battery and a diverter to switch between EV charging and water heating. This was to integrate with an EV charger previously installed by a different contractor. Michael was very good at explaining the technology, why certain options might work better for us and at the same time was accomdating where we had specific requirements or stipulations. The installation itself was carried out in in a very efficient way with the minimum of fuss or disruption. The work area was left clean and tidy on completion. I would be happy to recommend Now EV to anyone thinking of installing EV charger, Panels or Battery. We first used Michael to install an EV charger, which could utilise our existing solar panels. This was a great success and then led us on to get a battery installed and integrated into our current solar panel system. Both installs went to plan, neatly installed and working to described. I initially used NowEV for an electric car charger. I was impressed with the service and how they installed the car charger, so decided to get a quote for solar panels when they started installing them. I did contact other companies for solar, but they either didn't respond or told me they were too busy and to call back in another 3 months! I've always found Michael to be excellent with speed of communication, even running me through solar options on a Sunday. NowEV installed 12 solar panels plus 5kw battery early December 2022. They kept me informed of what was going to happen, turned up when they said they would and kept everything clean and tidy. Michael installed our system in December 2022 along with an EV Charger, very impressed with the speed at which it was all done, less than 6 weeks from initial survey to finished installation even through some of the worst of the winter weather.
