Q&As

Many lofts are suitable for conversion, it all comes down to budget. Some lofts will cost considerably more than others. Things to consider when looking at a loft conversion:

Roof Structure: Is it a trussed roof, purlin roof, or a rafter roof?
Height: Is your roof tall enough?
Space: Is there adequate space to make the room ‘liveable’?
Services or Chimneys: Make sure there are none present and if there are, that they don’t have to be moved.

If any of these are a concern, it doesn't mean your loft isn't suited to conversion. There are some amazing modern day solutions to making the most of what you have. The best way to assess a loft space is to have someone take a look. We offer a free initial consultation and would be happy to advice if you are unsure.

The first step would be an initial assessment and conversation with you regarding what you wish to achieve and to assess if this is possible. With the initial phase, we would look at planning restrictions in your area and what is required.

The next step would be to outline an initial design and work with you to make to most of what can be achieved for your budget and requirements. Once you are happy with the design, we would work on the formal drawings to aid your planning application if one is required.

If planning is required, once approval is received we would work up the technical details for the design and liaise with your local Building Control department to get a full plans approval for the project.

Construction can then begin!

We love opening a dialogue with our clients, having them be involved in the design process and providing a friendly and reliable service.

Flexibility for our family and freedom within our role to provide a unique service to our clients tailored by us.

Simply … because we love what we do!

We enjoy working with people to create what they have always dreamed of and help make that a reality. Providing a unique service and a positive attitude to all projects.
