A Bookkeeper is at the centre of a business. We are responsible for ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded and that all financial documentation is filed appropriately, so that it can be retrieved easily. What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people is the thing I love most about my job. Being able to make a difference to somebody else personally and their business, is very powerful and rewarding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I'm going to be honest, a friend of mine said to me a few years ago, "Naomi your good at Bookkeeping and Accounting, why don't you work for yourself?" I never really thought about it before, but I am really glad that she saw something in me, that at the time, I didn't see in myself.
Why should our clients choose you?
Firstly, I am easy to talk too and I have a wealth of knowledge within my profession as a Bookkeeper. Its my job to make bookkeeping for businesses simple and understandable.
I price my services fairly, so that even business start ups can see the value in my services.
I work with my clients on an individual basis in regards to bookkeeping services, so what will work for one person will not necessarily work for another.

Yes I can provide my services online or remotely, by asking my clients to use an APP to send me all documents needed for me to provide them with my services.
I have also been looking into using a very affordable accounting software, in which my clients can upload receipts which can link to a transaction and link their bank accounts so that it can automatically pull transactions from bank onto the software.
This will streamline the process of handling paperwork and save time for my clients and myself.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Provide service to pick up and deliver paperwork with no contact, and also my offering online or remote services, I am keeping everyone safe!
