Muddy tails have been looking after our two cats when we go away since the start of the year. They’re super friendly, responsive and accommodating (I have sometimes forgotten to book them until quite late in the day! ) and the cats are always well fed, happy and relaxed when we come home. The litter tray is always cleaned and the mess the cats make (they’re big fans of finding pens and paintbrushes from random parts of the house and dumping them in the kitchen) tidied up. Sadly Rafiki (my cat) died a few days before Mellissa was due look after him but she visited twice before hand and you could tell she really liked cats and was very professional (all the correct paperwork - lots of information for me to complete on his likes/dislikes, information on his vet, insurance etc). She was also very understanding and sympathetic when I cancelled just 3 or 4 days before hand. I would definetley recommend her and wish I had found out about her sooner as Rafiki was definetly a stay at home cat and not one for going to the cattery. More...

Reliable service. It is wonderful to know my pup is in safe and loving hands whilst I am at work. Communication from this company is excellent too.
What do you love most about your job?
I love how each day is different as I work with an array of pets with different personalities. I also love to see how happy all the dogs are when they are exploring on their walks!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I began volunteering at the RSPCA and realised I really enjoying being with animals and could see myself working with them. From there I worked for two companies as a dog walker and dog day care assistant which gave me the skills to then set up on my own.
