Arrived home from a lovely family holiday around 35 minutes late, we arrived in the baggage claim area and the waiting began. We waited for a little while whilst getting updated from staff (“your luggage will be with you soon”). Then to be told that we wouldn’t be getting our luggage because the baggage handlers have went home. Ridiculous! I couldn’t believe that there wasn’t a single person in the airport who could go and get our luggage as it was just sitting on the plane! However as we were leaving the staff said that they had someone going onto the plane to get prams and car seats for the families with young children. So there was people who could collect our luggage and the staff lied to us all? Thank you for making what was an amazing and relaxing holiday turn into such chaos and stress Will for sure be looking to fly in and out of other Scottish airports from now on More...

Terrible service. Flight was delayed and then canceled. Took forever to get baggage off plane, no none knew anything or could help, and baggage was soaking wet when it arrived.

Checking in went smooth and quickly enough my only real complaint is the prices that are charged in eateries or bars are far too high and probably more cost efficient to book the sky lounge for £25. I bought a 500ml bottle of cider £6.75;and a pint of peroni £6.50 so pretty expensive. Burger King the same to meals £17 so beware if attempting to work from a budget. Prices are now £7.25 bottle of cider a d £7.00 pint of peroni. Prices of holidays are expensive enough without overcharging in the bars. It seems like an OK airport. The facilities were fine with a good range of shops and cafes and restaurants. Was impressed by the easy access outside the terminal to the airport bus and taxi rank next to it.

Vindo de Dublin pra Gasglow: Saímos do avião pra aqueles ônibus, até aí tudo bem. Quando vejo, estamos, em fila, entrando em um corredor estranho com aquelas divisórias tipo de repartição pública. Já pensei, estranho. Passamos então por uma polícial sentada, e aí já saímos em um salão com banheiros e a esteira de mala, um pouco mais pra frente uma porta dizendo que não há retorno a partir daquele ponto e pronto, estávamos em Gasglow. A very average airport. At times, can be described as having the same feeling as a bus terminal. I must have been there over 100 times (travel extensively for work). I find the parking frustrating, the drive up to the dropoff/ pickup road markings can be confusing, so take it slow. It's currently £4 for 10 minutes stay at the pickup/ drop off. If you need to wait longer go to long stay where you can apparently wait for 30 minutes for free. On the way to the long stay there is another parking that will no doubt confuse things even further. Assisting family going home to America BA only one queue for two flights leaving an hour apart then a mad dash to get those on earliest flight to the front. Organised Chaos. Eighty quid to park for 4 days. Long stay car park closed. 4 quid to pick up or drop someone off. Long queues everywhere and the scumbags at border control treating a woman with a service dog like an international smuggler - these people are the lowest of the low - and will hide behind 'rules' to justify their snidey behaviour. This really puts me off traveling as someone is making a fortune from this business but no investment in staffing or the 1970's decoration. Booked with easy jet, arrived and got straight through check in and security. Shops and eateries just opening, 4am ! Friendly busy with lots of choice. Food was nice and served quick.

I don't have a strong opinion about this airport; however, I can certainly share my experience with individuals occupying the check-in counters of British Airlines. I observed a representative engaging in a conversation with a customer for an extended period of time, despite the presence of a lengthy queue awaiting check-in. When we approached them to express our concern about our impending lateness, they blatantly claimed to be performing their duties, but in reality, that representative was not fulfilling their responsibilities adequately.
