Mark and the team knew me and my property exceptionally well, and were always on hand to provide superb, personal service and spot-on advice. If you have a property to rent out, you could do no better than McLean Forth!When it came to me deciding to sell the property this autumn, McLean Forth were again superb. They were able to recommend, and line up quotes for selling agents and deal with all the practicalities of selling a property, such as sorting out final bills. This really took the worry out of selling.If you are selling a property, I would thoroughly recommend their Property Styling Service. My family have used Mclean Forth for over 15 years to look after our property in Aberdour. It was an added bonus that they had an office in the village. They looked after both the tenants and the property with their superb management skills. Any problems, change of tenancy, repairs needed were dealt with in an extremely efficient manner which took away the stress and worry from us. We were always contacted and kept informed. Over the years we felt we really got to know the staff who were reliable,kind and trustworthy. Nothing we asked seemed too much for them and they would solve our problems willingly and enthusiastically. It is with great sadness that we have now sold the house but would like to thank Mclean Forth and especially Nikki, who has been with us since the beginning. We inherited our previous management company when we bought our property and never felt confident that we were receiving the correct guidance. A colleague recommended McLean Forth and they have looked after our property for 10 years. During that time they have provided an excellent management service keeping us informed of changes in legislation, dealing efficiently with tenancy changes and helping us provide our tenants with a comfortable living experience by ensuring any problems were highlighted and dealt with efficiently. We can honestly say they have removed the worry from letting a property and made it an easy experience. Having now decided to sell we contacted Mark and he has been extremely helpful in enabling us to exit the rental market. In 2015 I moved to Edinburgh to start a Master's degree at the university. After a very difficult period trying to find a flat in Edinburgh with my girlfriend Kathrin we eventually found a flat on Rossie Place which one of a number of properties let by Mclean Forth. Despite the company being relatively small, the service they have provided during the two year period we lived at Rossie Place has been nothing short of exceptional. The moving in process and contract signing were incredibly efficient, allowing us plenty of time to concentrate on actually moving in, rather than worrying about paperwork. The same went for sorting out the flat deposit when leaving. Efficient, simple and stress-free. While there were a few maintenance issues with the building at large during our time there, any maintenance issue we ever had within the flat was sorted out in the blink of an eye. And we very quickly came to trust in the extremely personable and warm approach which I would say typifies Mclean Forth as an agency. I would not hesitate to recommend Mclean Forth to anybody looking to rent a flat in the Edinburgh area and would happily move back to Edinburgh from Berlin, provided the residence was under the management of Mclean Forth. 10/10 in my book. I was recommended McLean Forth by a friend whose property is managed by them & could not be happier that I chose them to manage mine. I no longer live in the UK and as this was my first experience of being a landlord I was fully reliant on the guidance of whomever I chose to look after my apartment. From the first initial meeting with Mark, I felt assured & fully informed throughout every stage and confident I was leaving my flat in the hands of true professionals. Communication is efficient, friendly and concise and I feel fully informed about my flat and tenants at all times. We have just returned to our property that was managed by McLean Forth after 3 years. It was in excellent condition and had been looked after really well. This company gives brilliant quick response personal service for Landlords, has a great maintenance department and the staff are very efficient and friendly. For us living abroad it took the stress out of worrying about our house, knowing it was in good hands and the tenant checks were thorough before and during the tenancy.
