How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Ideally it would need a cavity wall , although an inner skin of stud work could remedy this should
It be single skin
Also a window would be handy. Depending where it is and access to the converted room one might need an escape window for fire rating

Assuming there is a garage door this would have to come off and a foundation put in to brick up the ope
Ning to window height. Window fitted with escape access wiring and any plumbing next if it has a cavity and is insulated then walls can be plaster boarded. If no insulation then use an insulated plasterboard .If there is only a single skin then a cavity would be formed followed by a stud wall insulated and then boarded. The ceiling will have to be insured and boarded.Assuming the roof is sound. Any breakthroughs to be carried out next . Plaster walls . The floor will need insulating and then boarding or screeding. Final fitting any plumbing and electrics, decorate.

I love the variety of different projects from the small patio, to a large house
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business primarily because, l worked for a company for a number of years and kept getting offered jobs which l would do in my spare time ie evening s and weekends.It built up from there until l left my job and done my own work full time
