I had an important celebration gala dinner to attend with being a novice I freaked out about doing my makeup Mirna was so helpful in explaining everything to me making me feel calm about stepping out my comfort zone about makeup. Her patience and skill transformed my drab and mumsy look of trainers and jeans into that of a flawless princess. The professional quality products she used were appreciated by my skin, I never at one point felt like I had makeup on. My makeup was done at 12:30 pm and by 01:30 it was still looking flawless, I received so many compliments not only at the event but on social Media too, there was not a streak or smudge of makeup at all. I am blown away by this wonderfully talented lady! Mirna did my makeup last Saturday for a wedding that I was attending. I am not exaggerating when I say that her talent is Absolutely Phenomenal! Mirna took the time to create a bespoke makeup look that was exactly what I wanted and I left looking and feeling the most beautiful I have ever felt in my whole life. She takes her time to study your bone structure, your face shape, your skin etc to ensure you end up looking absolutely perfect with a makeup look that is suited exactly to your face. Her knowledge is astounding and she really is one of the loveliest, warmest and friendliest women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The only sad part is that I wish I had discovered her before I got married two months ago as I would have had her do my makeup for my wedding! I am gutted about this! For my wedding I had my makeup done by another Make up artist which I thought was lovely but I’ll admit, it just wasn’t to the same standard as Mirnas . She is also the exact type of person I would have wanted to spend my wedding morning with. She is calm and friendly and puts you at ease straight away- I knew I was in safe hands. No expense is spared with regards to the makeup products either as she uses high end, quality makeup. She is so passionate about what she does and is a complete perfectionist. Mirna didn’t let me go until she got my makeup exactly perfect because she is committed to marking you look and feel your best. I felt so comfortable with Mirna. She encourages complete honesty, It was important to her that I loved my makeup so she kept checking that I was happy with it and encouraged me to be honest if there was anything I would like to change which of course there wasn’t as it was flawless! I have had my makeup done in the past by several different Make up artists but Mirna takes things to a whole new level. Honestly, thank you Mirna for making me look and feel stunning. I had such a lovely time with you. Everyone commented on how beautiful my makeup looked that day so I have spread the word about this beautiful creative genius called Mirna. What a talented and lovely lady. Made me feel fantastic while having my make up done, complimenting my features while also asking me what make up I was comfortable with to make sure I was happy with the end result. There isn’t enough words to describe just how beautiful Mirna made me feel. After a previous bad experience with a MUA I was very apprehensive to approach anyone else but from our first point of contact Mirna had me at ease straight away. After discussing with Mirna I didn’t want anything to heavy and more of classic look for my two events she took me through every step during the first session and confirming with me if I was happy so far. The moment Mirna handed me the mirror after we were finished I had to hold back tears and try not to undo her work. Our second session we went a little bolder and brighter with the colours (but only what I was comfortable with) and again she made me feel like an empowered beautiful woman. I can’t honestly recommend Mirna enough for any occasion and for those moments where you want to feel utterly beautiful. She takes her time explaining everything and has the best eye for detail. Can't fault Mirna what so ever. Friendly and welcoming. A lovely service in the comfort of our own home. Mirna did a lovely job doing my sister's makeup. But more than that she was very forth coming with explaining the techniques she was using, the products that she rates and was using, and tips for our specific skin tone and eye colour.
This was a gift for my sister but both me and my mum got so much out of it too.
I now have a nice long wish list for beauty bay, and am excited to try out and practice some of the new techniques :-)
