Louise is truly remarkable at wedding makeup. She asks the right questions and the makeup is flawless. Even at night people said I looked fresh. Can’t recommend her highly enough.

Louise is amazing- not only does she do AMAZING and flawless makeup, she has also created the most beautiful salon in LUX which is sooo lovely to visit and which she has clearly put so much thought into and designed with her clients in mind to make them feel at ease in a stylish and relaxing environment. I have known Louise for around 5 years now, she was actually the first person that I had professionally do my makeup. Since then I always make sure that I have Louise booked to do my make up for all my important events and photo shoots. I have been to Louise for my graduation makeup, wedding guest make up, fashion shoots and for nights out. No matter what the occasion, I can trust Louise to get it right every time.
What I like most about Louise is that she keeps the makeup classy, unlike a lot of makeup artists who seem to overdo it. Louise is always so professional, she never has you waiting for your appointment and I have never left unhappy!
If anyone asks me to recommend a makeup artist in Glasgow, Louise is always the person I suggest.
I visited Lux for the first time a few weeks ago and loved the salon. Great space and perfect lighting for selfies �. Can’t wait until next month to go back��.

I am leaving a review on behalf of myself (Kelly) and my lovely wife (Amy) as we don't have Facebook. Both of us and our entire bridal party booked with Lux for our bridal tans, make up and nails. The salon is lovely and laid out beautifully and all the staff are so warm and friendly. The first time we went myself, my wife and my mum met with Louise for our wedding make up trials. Louise is lovely and so warm and friendly. She contacted me several times before and I sent through pictures of make up looks I liked. Louise then took her time doing all of our trials and discussed skin care and products which would suit our individual skin types. Louise gave us tips for everyday make up such as how to open up your eyes or contour etc. We loved our make up and were made to feel so welcome. The second time we went we had tans done for our hen do. Again it was a fantastic experience where we were all made to feel comfortable. We then visited again with our entire bridal party just a couple of days before our wedding. Myself, my wife, my mum and all our bridesmaids had our nails done by Cathleen who was absolutely lovely. Very professional and had loads of great ideas and suggestions and was totally up for me having something different than the normal traditional bridal look. All the party loved their nails and we chatted with Cathleen the whole time...and we were in there for hours! Louise also did all our tans. The girls kept the salon open late and accommodated all of us as some of the bridesmaids had to work late. Lux is by far the best salon I've ever experienced. The staff have a wealth of experience and are all lovely and friendly. We are already booked in for more treatments and would recommend to anyone. We can't wait to go back. More...

I've had my makeup done by Louise twice now, and cannot rave about it enough! Absolutely beautiful makeup that lasts all night, got so many compliments and she was so great at listening to what I wanted and making it even better!
I've also had my nails done in the salon before and they were amazing as well, lasted longer than any acrylics I'd had before!

Had my make up done yesterday by Rebecca for a wedding I was attending, arrived late as my sat nav didn't take me straight there. Rebecca directed me on the phone and once I got there reassured me that she would do her best to get me ready in time.
