Alan Ayers was swift to react to my call for my Lock problem on the front door .He communicated his time of arrival accurately. His obvious knowledge and understanding of the problem and importantly the solution was accurate. The problem explained and sorted out in a short time. He also tweaked the door hinges to give an all round improvement. He offered a remedy for the situation which proved to be the best answer. Genuinely the kindest and most helpful trader I've come across in Colchester! Alan answered my query about changing a front door mechanism quickly and was with me less than 24 hours from my initial phone call. When he arrived, he did his utmost to fix my problem. The entire time Alan was there, he kept me informed of what he was doing, explained how the mechanism worked, and what could be done to fix it. Alan fixed our front door a couple of months back we already had it repaired twice before not by Alan and it had broken within a couple of months but this time Alan replaced the whole locking system with I think 5 new keys and it has worked perfectly since hence why it’s been a couple of months reviewing I needed to make sure that everything worked and now I feel it’s time to give a massive 5 star rating and say how prompt and friendly Alan was well done excellent service

Alan is fantastic. Our front door lock failed, we called him and within 30mins we had a new lock mechanism installed and he was off. He happened to be 10mins away and passing by between jobs.
